Try lithium ion or rechargable batteries (maH > 2500). Alkalines (regular duracell/energizer) have trouble powering many digital cameras since they cannot sustain the amount power output necessary.

that always happens to me when the batteries die.. i use energizer rechargeable batteries 2500mah,, what ever that means..
