Sounds like your best bet is to contact Apple Support. If it's under 90 days you can call and talk for free and service/repair is covered for one year. (more-so if you purchased Apple Care)

How to recover text messages/SMS From iPhone 5S/5C/5/4S/4/3GS Directly

Losing messages on iPhone can be extremely anxious for those who are often using iPhone to send or receive SMS messages. For some people who accidentally deleted their important text messages, I want to introduce how to recover text messages from their iPhone directly. All iPhone model including iPhone 5S/5, iPhone 4s/4, iPhone 3GS are supported.

To recover the deleted messages from iPhone directly, we have to turn to another application for help. iOS Data Recovery for iPhone iPad iPod .

Step 1 . Connect iPhone to computer
Launch the program and connect your iPhone to computer. Then it will begin to detect your iPhone automatically. The interface for iPhone 5S/5C/5/4S and iPhone 4/3GS will be a little different:
1) For iPhone 5S/5C/5/4S, users only need to click "Start Scan" button shown in the window below to start scanning your iPhone data:

2) For iPhone 4/3GS, you need to download a plug-in by clicking the "Download" button as follows:

Step 2. Preview and recover lost messages from iPhone
After scanning, it will display all found data and files in categories as below. You can then choose the SMS messages you want to recover and then restore them to computer by clicking "Recover" button.

Yes, as you see in this tip, we can recover any deleted/lost SMS/text messages with only two steps. You can also learn more methods from this page:

How can I sync contacts?

I'd like to recommend you using a data backup tool,
Transfer Contacts from Android to PC

with this, you can selectively choose the contacts to backup, which allows preview.
And you can sync many other data, too.

How to reset password on iphone without itunes

If what you say is iPhone backup password, just with a computer and a tool, iPhone backup password will be reset.

iTunes Password Genius can run in Windows computer. What you need to do is run it on computer, add iTunes backup into it, and set password attack type for backup password recovery. Once all of these done, click "Recover" button is enough.

But if you want to change or disable iPhone backup password, you need to connect iPhone to computer and do that in iTunes.

If the password you say is iPhone passcode, factory reset iPhone is a method. You can reset a new password for iPhone after factory reset. However, all of things on iPhone have deleted too. Now restore iPhone from iTunes backup on computer is a best way. The backup password could be recovered with iTunes Password Genius.

My iPhone 3GS screen is going crazy! Randomly if I click a letter on the keyboard let's says 'a' then it starts clicking other random letters like 'p' Also, when I'm running an app an let sat I scroll down...

My 3gs has been doing the same thing for the past few days until it got to the point where it opened up settings and started hitting all the different sounds! lol
First i was going to restore but the restore ended up failing due to some kind of unknown error. I then thought what about doing a "hard reboot" by holding the lock button and home button together until it shuts off, then release the lock button while still holding the home button for 10 seconds. That worked. I guess its like disconnecting the battery for a bit. Hope it works for all !!!

3GS only allows emergency calls

you will need to do a forced restore on iphone to resovle the iphone passcode lost problem. but when you do a forced restore on iphone, you will wipe all content from the iphone. To do a forced restore hold the HOME button, then connect to the USB cable and continue holding for a LONG time (a minute or more). Once iTunes responds release the button and your iphone will be restored.
or you can try to plug it into iTunes with it at the unlock screen. Somewhere it should say “Unlock your iPhone” or something like that in iTunes. Click it. Otherwise do a restore by going to the screen where it shows how much memory you have used up in iTunes and click “Restore”. Restore it as a new device (not from back up) in iTunes. After that, you can just sync your media and apps back onto it.
