Question about Televison & Video
I'm pretty handy and would like to fix it myself, but I honestly don't know much about firearms. It was a gift for target shooting - I don't hunt - and my husband had it seize up on him on a shooting range before I could even try it out. I can provide pictures if that would be helpful. Thanks, people. You have probably saved me thousands of dollars in repair work over the years with your generous help, and it is very much appreciated.
Due to the explosive nature of rifle cartridges I would highly recommend you take it to a gunsmith or get Marlin to repair it. Also, come the time when you need it to be reliable, you don't want it jamming. Something must be worn inside or is malformed. Have it fixed professionally, or send it back to Marlin under warranty.

SOURCE: TruTech PLV16190 no picture
What I found out is target has several manufactures that make the trutech products. I have the PLV16260. I called target @ 1800-440-0680 and was transfered to the electronics dept. They told me to look on the back label of the tv and there is a manufacturer name there. Mine was made by ALCO. Their number is 888-252-6352. I just spoke to them and they said the reason the screen is blank is that it is the power supply board. They informed me that if I ship it to them in Buffalo NY that they can repair it for 135.00. I had a repair person come out and they want over 300.00 to fix it. Shipping it will be a problem for me so I am checking to see if they have a replacement board I can buy and have someone install for me.
The other interesting thing they told me was that even though it is out of warranty - if it was not repairable they would replace it with a current model. It might be worth shipping.I am waitng for them to get back to me.
Hope this helps

SOURCE: nes zapper wont shoot ducks.
I've never tried the lightbulb trick, but I do know that light guns won't work an LCD or plasma screens, as it relies on how CRT screens work. If this describes your problem, you'll have to scrounge up a good 'ol boxy tube TV for your duckhunting needs.

This is from the ValuSOft site. Looks like your video card does not mee the requirments for the game. You will need to upgrade the video card.
If your video card does fully support the necessary requirements, as listed on the box,
you may need to update your video card drivers.
You should update your video card drivers from the video card manufacturer's web site
and not the computer manufacturer's Website (IE Dell, HP etc)
Common Video card manufacturers are...
ATI's Home Page
nVidia's Home Page
Intel's Home Page
