NO SOUNDS ON MY PHONE

Look and see if you have a headset icon. Sometimes things can get in the headset plug and it thinks you are connected to a headset. If there is no headset plug, check the bluetooth settings.
Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears
You are sure the mute switch (at the side above the volume buttons) is not turned on?
Also in Settings > Sounds > Change with Buttons ON?

You can download the manual for free using this link:

Setting and Using the Alarm
1. Press the AL SET button. The time will flash.
2. While the time is flashing press the HOUR button until you reach the correct hour. Then
press the MIN button until you reach the desired minute.
3. After 5 seconds the alarm set time will stop flashing and it will be programmed, or you may press
the AL SET button.
Note: The PM indicator also applies to the alarm. You can review the alarm setting anytime by
pressing the AL SET button.
4. To activate the alarm you may choose one of 3 wake options:
a. To wake to BUZZER press the AL MODE button once.
b. To wake to a SOUND press the AL MODE button a second time. It will set to the last
sound you listened to. If you wish to change it press the sound you wish to
wake to and then press the POWER button.

I changed the batteries in my Homedics automatic blood pressure monitor # 518731 and now it won't shut off, it just keeps running and I have to take the batteries out to make it stop

Sounds like you need to call or go to Homedics website for help with this one - often they will replace the device.
Congratulations on taking an active role in your health!

The alarm sounds daily. how can i stop it?

There are two alarms, and the steps are the same. Make sure both are off.
For Wake 1 alarm.
1.Look on the face. One the left are two symbols, a 'bell' and a 'music note'. 2. Press the 'Wake 1' button on top, several times. Notice how the green circle on the left of the face switches back and forth between bell to music note. 3. HOLD DOWN WAKE 1 BUTTON, until both lights are off. The Wake 1 alarm is now off.
Wake 2 alarm: Look at green circles on the right side of the face. HOLD DOWN WAKE 2 BUTTON until both circles are unlit. The Wake 2 alarm is now off.
Get a piece of paper, write "HOLD DOWN WAKE BUTTON to stop repeating alarm" and tape it to the back of the clock.

I just bought Homedics SS-4500 Sound Spa Classic and there was no instruction manual in it. Is there one I can download? I don't know how to change the time that is preset or set the alarm? Thank you.

Also note if projection does not work correctly, Ken posted an elegant solution: holding down hour and minute unplug and plug back in (still holding down hour and minute). Made mine work!

Savings time

This is more of a Clarification than a solution.
I've determined that the SS-5000 is not recognizing the changes to DST that happened in 2007.

From 1986 to 2006 this was the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October, but starting in 2007, it is observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, adding about a month to daylight saving time.

So in March the clock is still trying to keep the "earler" time and in November it's trying to keep the 'later' time.

I'm contacting HomeMedics Support to see if there's a resolution.

Homedics SS- 5000

Hey, OK so you know how when you plug the clock in it takes like 5 minutes to upload? Well wait till you have the time set the atomic thing stops flashing. Now when you get there press the button on the inside of the outside temperature thing. Not the c/f one. The red dot should flash on the front of the thing your holding. It should work after that. If not then make sure you don't have any computers or cell phones by it that messes with it. Hope this helps.
