Oh, then you need to report the fault with your ISP, or Telecoms co. in order to resolved the issue. Thanks :-)

Mac address

There are a few different numbers that tells networks, the Internet, other computers and so on who you are.
These numbers can include the internet protocol address (IP address), which can be four numbers from 0 to 255 in version 4, or even more in the newer version 6.
However, of all of these numbers, there is one number that identifies your computer and your hardware uniquely, and that is the Media Access Control address, or MAC address.

Open up the run dialog.
This can be done in two ways, either "windows key + r", or go to the start menu and click on "Run".
Type "cmd" to bring up the command prompt.

Type "ipconfig /all".

Record your MAC Address for each device.
There will be one or more devices listed depending upon the number of connections you have, such as Ethernet port, modem port, or wireless port.
Each of these will have a field listed as Physical Address, consisting of six, two number of letter segments.
For example: 12-34-56-78-9A-BC

Linux users

Open up a console window.
This can be accomplished in many ways depending on your distribution.

Type ifconfig -a.
This is analogous to the above ipconfig /all.

Record your MAC Address for each device.

Machintosh owners

Open System Preferences and select "Network".

Choose your interface (such as ethernet or wireless) in the "Show" box.

Find the MAC address. For the Ethernet device, it will be under the Ethernet tab listed as Ethernet ID. For the wireless, it will be under the Airport tab as Airport ID.

Record your MAC Address for each device.

How to make your computer or phone passwords more secure

There are a lot of unscrupulous people out there so if you don't want to give them a chance to steal your money or your identity then choose a more secure password for your devices. Do not use the following memorable type of things like birth dates or bank pin numbers these are a thief's easy way into your life. Use a mixture of letters and numbers but also use a capital letter. A good example is Ph0n3 - it doesn't have to be complicated just difficult for others to guess. Good luck and stay safe.

XPS 210 with XP Media Center has unknown driver in device manager. I think it might be the TV tuner because I get a Decoder error when I try to watch TV in the media center.

Here's something to try. In Device Manager, double-click the unknown device to open its properties. Click the Details tab. In the Property drop-down menu, choose Device Instance ID (or Device Instance Path for Windows Vista/7). You'll see a string of characters in the Value box.
In this string of characters, look for the letters VEN_. The numbers following this are the vender ID. Then look for the letters DEV_. The numbers following this are the device ID.
Go to the PCI Vendor and Device database here:
http://www.pcidatabase.com/
and enter the vendor and device ID for your search. This doesn't always find the right device, but it often does. After you figure out what the device is, you should be able to determine whether you can download the right drivers.

How can i get the radio code for my car

Retrieve Unlock Codes for Radio and Navigation Devices

Retrieving Your Code:
You can retrieve your code using this website by providing identity verification and vehicle information in a few simple steps.

Information You Will Need (click in the right link):
* Vehicle VIN Number (Vehicle Identification Number)
Every automobile has a unique Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) that contains information about that vehicle. You can find your 17-digit VIN:
  1. At the base of your vehicle's windshield, on the driver's side
  2. On your vehicle's registration
  3. On your insurance statement or proof-of-insurance card
  4. On your Honda Financial Services statement
  5. On new owner surveys or customer satisfaction surveys sent by American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
Valid VIN numbers use the letters A-Z and numbers 0-9, except for the letters I, O, and Q. If the VIN is not working properly, check to see if letters and numbers have been accidentally inverted. Make sure the letter O was not entered in place of the number 0. Also, make sure the correct number of characters has been entered.

* Phone Number and Zip Code matching those on file
For security purposes, we verify ownership by comparing the phone number, zip code, and VIN you enter with those we have on file. Unless you have updated these values through Customer Services, the phone number and zip code will be those on file at the time the vehicle was purchased.

* Device Serial Number

There are several places to find your device's serial number:

The Radio/Navigation Code and the device unit's serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. The card is usually placed in the glove box at the time of delivery.

* Monday to Friday 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)
* 4:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Saturdays PST
* 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM PST on Sundays.

Just check and send the roght onformation in THIS LINK: Radio Navicode

Remember that this its one unique secure code, anybody could sell you in Internte.

Good luck (remember to rate this answer)..

Serial number on memory card of TomTom??

Yes it does. Insert the card into a card reader or if you have access to the unit connect it to your computer. Open my computer and open the drive letter of the device. After you have opened the drive look for a ttgo.bif or ttgo.bak file open the file using notepad and it will tell you the device serial number and device unique id. I will tell you this though if their device is working and is not freezing at start up they are not using your sd card. Each sd card has a unique number and will only work with that device.
Hope this answers your question.
