Turn the electric off to the timer and carefully try to clean and dust, dirt, corrosion off the timer points. Turn the electric back on and try it out. If it is still malfunctioning it is probably time to replace it. Good luck.

You posted under Tork 8601 timer:
I don't think that clock motor is sold separately.
New timer costs 115 at Chapman:
120Volt Tork clock motor that fits some models is sold at frontier for $43:
Usually the clock motor is held with 2 screws and then wires attach to screw terminals.
Look close at your screw terminals to see clock wires.
Normally timer mechanism snaps out of box and clock motor is on back of mechanism.

Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

If clock is rotating on time, next suspect is P47 trippers have worn down. Trippers are made of softer metal so they wear down instead wearing down the on-off lever, and that way the timer lasts longer.
New replacement Tork 1101 120Volt timer can be purchased on-line at Amazon etc.
Home Depot sells the 120V GE 15306 indoor-outdoor version of Tork 1101 timer.
Replacement timer in Intermatic is T101

Copy following link for Tork timers.
If you have T900, then rotate dial until current time lines up with time pointer located to right of word Tork at bottom of dial.
This timer uses P69 tripper.
#36 120Volt clock motor is dial is lagging or no longer rotating.
