Question about Gateway FPD1975W 19" LCD Monitor
Whenever I try to turn my computer on, it stays on for about 10 seconds then shuts off then it turns on about 10 seconds after that. Plus my monitor does not display anything when I turn it on. I sent my computer to my cousin's house a few days to fix it but when he plugged the computer in everything worked fine. My computer just doesn't seem to work when I plug it in at my house. I know the problem is not the monitor because I tried using different monitors and all of them do not display anything when I turn on my pc.
Sounds like a loose wire inside the system touching something inside and shorting it out. My brother had this same problem. I brought it to my house to work on it and it was fine, no problems. Open the panel and look for any wires that are touching metal or something else and tie it up out of the way. I won't swear that is your issue, but sure sounds like it.
