Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: LS2208 scanner unrecognized by my HP notebook

It is not likely VISTA will run your scanner software as it is very old. However you could check program compatibility mode and set it to run as Win 95/8 Check compatibility in Start/Programs/Accessories or go to my Computer Windows Help[ and type compatibility in the search field But I don't think you will get far.

SOURCE: HOW OFTEN??Should you defragment?Do I have a HDD or SSD hard drive??How do I find out??Does defraging SSD destroy your hard drive quicker?

If you use a proprietary defrag system like iobit.com, defragging everyday keeps the filing cabinet in good order cutting down on search time and saving wear on the hdd. If you download
Speed Up Slow Computer Keep PC and Internet Secure Freeware Download IObit
It will sort out your SSD or HDD for you automatically. We can only tell the type of drive from the computer information list that we cannot see because it is on your computer.

How do I set up Asus Chromebox M004U

My advice is always to have a router between any computer and a cable or DSL modem as that gives you an added layer of security. Having no router (and its built-in hardware firewall) is like having your front door open and inviting all the ne'er-do-wells into your home to do whatever they wish.

However to answer your question more directly, I would suggest using the Ethernet port rather than USB as it is very simple, direct, and needs no driver unlike the USB option.

I see your point. But if I decide to place an SSD hard drive, will Windows 7 recognize the other hard drive which is not SSD? Please respond ASASP

Windows should not discriminate one way or the other. Just make sure both drives appear in BIOS first.

I guessing you want the OS on the SSD? Load it first, then treat the 750GB SATA as a secondary hd. Just a suggestion if it gives you problems.

I think my hdd is broken, windows does not recognize it.

I have the same problem. It's too late, I know, Diego, but I found this silly solution that I am posting that might work for others. Plug the Toshiba HDD into another USB Port: (Probably Windows OS retains each stream that it has started, and these streams need to be deleted, in the same sense that some apps won't open the file it has open currently.) I read in another forum that the computers USB ports had been fried after a power surge!
Might work for someone.
