SOURCE: Seiko Diamatic Day Date Automatic Watch No: 219050

I have a Seiko Diamatic 780632. To set the day and date, pull the crown once and wind it upwards (away from you) to set the date; winding it downwards (towards you) will set the day. To set the time, you have to pull the crown twice and wind it towards you.

SOURCE: Watch has correct day and date only 1/2 each day

The watch thinks at Noon it is really midnite, so you must scroll 12 hours ahead to repair this. There are usually 2 "clicks" on the stem of the watch when you pull it out, 1 will set time, 1 will set the day/date, be careful to pay close attention to which is happening when you pull out the stem, and setting should go well after that.

SOURCE: HOW TO CHANGE DATE

The Skagen watches have  two-step stem; fully pulled out will change the time and partially pulled out will change the date (only goes one way so try turning it counter-clockwise or clockwise - I forget which is correct).  It's easier to find the date length by extending it all the way and then go back toward the case.  It won't change the date if you run it through a 24-hour cycle - you have to do the half-way thing.  Hope this helps.

SOURCE: date on my watch

It sounds like your still off by 12 hrs. You can usually set the date between 12 am and 11:59 am on most watches, but the best thing to do in this case is to set the date right after midnight, to be sure.

The day inscription is two days late, monday, watch says saturday

So to change the Day and Date of your Watch, slowly pull the Stem out... (Do note that if you have a Waterproof Watch, you'll need to unscrew the Stem counter-clockwise, which is towards you, until it unlocks, then you can pull the Stem out!) But this is where you need to go slow. If you pull it out slowly you should hear one snap. (It stops on the first notch) If you pull the Stem out all the way, it snaps twice and ends up on the second notch. (See picture below) The second notch, or all the way out, is where the Stem needs to be to set the Time.
day-changed.gif But the first notch, or first snap, is the secret and the key to setting the Day and Date! In the first notch position, you'll see that if you spin the Crown one way, it will change the Day. Spin it in the opposite direction and it changes the Date!
Do keep in mind that you may have to spin the Day and Date a couple rotations because it most likely will alternate between English and Spanish. Just pick the correct Language for you and it's done! When the Day and Date are set, push the Stem in all the way and enjoy your Watch!
If you still have the problem with your Watch changing Dates at Noon instead of Midnight, that just means you're on the wrong 12 hr cycle. (It's set for Twelve at Night instead of Twelve at Noon) All you need to do is pull the Stem all the way out, (second notch) and Spin the Minute and Hour hands ahead 12 hours. If it's Twelve O'Clock, spin it ahead until it's Twelve O'Clock again. Doing that will put the Watch on the correct 12 hour cycle.

mcdevito75 here, The stem on your westclox has 2 positions, First pull the stem out to set the time of day, keep cycleing the watch until you come to 1 day before the day you want. NOW! push the stem back in. NOW! slip a finger nail just under the crown and gently, gently kift the crown to it"s first position, it may take a little practice so be patient, once in it's first position you can change the DATE easily, change the DATE to 1 DATE before the DA you want, push the syem back in and pull the stem back out and set the day/date and time of day. Change the day of the week

Most watches have a stem that you pull out to set the time. The little knob on the end of the stem is called a crown. For a day/date watch, there are two clicks. The first click when you pull out the stem is the day / date setting, the second click sets the time.

When you are on the first click, twisting the crown one direction changes the day of the week; twisting the other direction changes the date. If yours has only the date, it could be either direction depending on the manufacturer.
