Use a plastic container that will fit in the machine and bail the water out into a bucket, only takes a few minutes.
If it has a removable panel at the front take it off and that will expose all the pumpout hose, the pump and the undercarriage of the machine.
You can drain the remaining water from the machine by removing the large rubber pump-out hose from under the plastic bowl, use a bucket to catch the water.
Check under the washing machine for a belt that may have broken or just come off.
hope this helps you

Does the washed show an error?
Check all hoses in back. Remove them from washer and ensure water is coming from lines (drain into bucket).
Unplug washer for several minutes, then try again.

The water level is control from a pressure sensor located internaly on the of the washer and is connected to the drum cy a water plastic hose.
As the water levlel enter in the drum and start rising the same hapen also to hose. By rising in the hose is plessing up the air that was trap in it and as it resiing the pressure rising too. That is how the water level pressure sensor works.
So the posible problems are:
1.The water hose is goccled by something so the pressure sensor switch is stay on always. So you need to clean the hose entry, first you can try to make a wash by adding manual water and select a program at the very hot so by this their is very good chance that the dirt will be desolved and the hose will be open again.
2. If the baove does not work the you need to open the top of the washer and by finding the other hose end secured on pressure swuich remove it and blow air in it so it will be open.
3. If do this and sill have the problem the check the pressure switch which probably is stcuck on and need to be replaced.

Did you ever get an answer - all I see are ads :-(
We have the same problem. Not enough water to rinse - even with extra rinse selected. Even our laundry comes out the color of the laundry detergent. I'm sure this is a result of government regulations to reduce water usage. We'll contact Maytag tomorrow.

if the washer is only one month old contact whirlpool and they will give you a service company in your area to contact and it the repair will be free of charge as long as the problem is with the washer and not something that you are doing wrong or something wrong with the way that it is installed, the unit is under mfg. warrnty for one year from date of purchase.
things to check before calling would be, water connections correct? hot to hot cold to cold. are both the hot and cold water turned on?
i would call a whirlpool certified repair company, they will send a guy out and if its broken they will fix it for free.
