SOURCE: Kenmore Microwave Oven - Clock dosen't work

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in and try again.

If that doesn't work, you may have a problem with the keypad, but your best bet is to check your owner's manual first.

If for some reason you don;t have yours, you can probably get it via the Sears site.

Just enter your model number there.

A full Sears/Kenmore model number has 3 digits, a dot, then 8 more digits, such as ###.########

On the resulting page, look to the right for the blue "View manuals" button. Click there.

That Sears-related site has many free manuals. While the manuals they list there are all free, they will ask you to register.

If yours is not listed there for free, you would have to order it through the
Sears parts site.

If you still have toruble despite using the manual, you may have a failed keypad. If so, please reply back or feel free to contact me directly.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Without your model number this is a GENERIC answer that is applicable to MOST microwave ovens.
1. Press Stop//Pause
2. Press Clock
3. Set Time
4. Press Clock

Time is now set and the Microwave is ready for use.

If this does not work.. I need you to respond with your model number to look up your exact steps.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

I am unable to set my clock on the Magic Chef MCM1110 W/B Microwave Oven I just purchased following the Instruction Manual

Typically all you have to do to set the clock is to press the Clock button, enter the time, and press Clock again. However on some models, clock set is accessed through the main menu, by pressing the Help button and following the prompts.

Setting clock

It depends on the brand and model.

Normally it's a sequence like:

CLOCK > 1 > 2 > 3 > CLOCK

CLOCK > 1 > 2 > 3 > START

CLOCK > CLEAR > 1 > 2 > 3 > CLOCK

CLOCK > CLEAR > 1 > 2 > 3 > START

If not, please post a new inquiry with your correct brand and model.

Cant set the clock

hi
In most brandsof microwave oven, you set the clock by one of these combinations of key presses:

Clock > time digits > Clock

Clock > Clear > time digits > Clock

Clock > time digits > Start

If that doesn't work, please reply back with your brand and full model number.
All the best and do rate this answer if u r satisfied.
