SOURCE: my brand new DC608 18 gauge nailer jams every time on the 2nd nail.

Per your addendum I would have first told you to check that you are using the proper guage nails. Second you should make sure you are loading the nails in the lowest channel in the magazine so they are at the bottom of the magazine. If you load them into the top of the magazine they have more time to go off course before they get into the wood.

What degree nails are used in stanley bostitch n60fn nail gun

I've repaired many nail guns and I can tell you the Stanley Bostitch N60FN uses 15 guage nails from 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" long in the FN1500 series of Bostitch nails. Nowhere does SB or any of their aftermarket dealers list what the angle of the nails is. I do know most of the SB nail guns that come through for repairs are because of damage to them from using other than SB series nails.

My new Bostitch bt200 was working fine until it started curling the nails. They went into the wood slightly & then curled around out the top of the board

A close inspection around the outlet area may reveal a piece on "nail-head", or other fragment causing the new nails to lean slightly. There could even be an entire smaller nail crammed into the area just forward of the nail exit (or just to the side). If I were you I'd get it in bright light, where I can sit and take my time, and with magnifying glasses (unless you have 20-20) use a small tool and inspect closely.

I have had this happen to me and I thought, "well there's not all that much place to hide"... And I didn't see it the first time I looked. But sure enough, there was an entire nail lodged in there in such a way that I thought it was part of the nail gun the first time! Good luck.

Oh, give it a liberal oiling while your at it.

Common problems dewalt clipped head framing nailer

there is NO easy solution for this, but unplug air and get a pair of safety glasses and a punch and try and knock the driver up into the tool away from the nail or if it is just jammed try and pull the nail out. You didn't really specify where the problem is. Let me know if you need more assistance.

NR90AE Nails jammed how to remove

New user will jam the gun/ nails because gun was most likely not bump fired. Placing the gun then depressing trigger will usually cause double fire in the hands of new user. New user should practice on scrap lumber bump firing at many angles till they get the idea; or give them a training period with a nailer that has a single shot trigger (they may develop bad habits with single shot however).

I have a whirlpool electric range model no. RF378LXKQ0. I removed the door and now I can't get it back on. I didn't relalize I was to put the pins in and I don't even see where they go.

**** the hinge to the broil position. Put a nail or something so the hinge won't pop back in the door when you go to put it back. Once ya have it back in the stove, remove the nail and close the door.

I have a DC608 cordless nailer that will not fire the driver the driver does not move at all but everything else seems to be functioning properly Thanks Tim

Hi,

You can go to this webpage and download the owner's manual which gives instructions: http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail?productNumber=DC608K
You can also download a parts diagram and order parts here.

I looked through the manual and found that DeWalt's Brad Nailer does not require tools to remove jammed nails from the nose piece. I believe this is the problem with your nailer, unless it's empty. Some of these nailers will not fire if there's less than 6 nails in them.
Another feature on this nailer is the trip lock. It is a safety feature that prevents accidental firing. Any time you adjustments made to the nailer will automatically turn the trip lock to lock position. You'll find this lock on the right side, under the Dewalt label.

The instruction manual will explain all this.

Hope this helps. If it does, I would appreciate a vote. Thanks,

Handie Andie
