Question about Dishwashers
Normally the drain for the dishwasher runs behind the cabinets and ties into the sink drain, just above the trap. So if the dishwasher is near your sink, check there, usually it is a rubber joint there with a hose clamp. Have a bucket ready just in case it is backed up and dumps water, then remove the hose clamp and twist and pull the hose off and check it. If there's no blockage there, then it's most likely the pump went bad in the dishwasher itself.
