**** the water out of the pan below the dishwasher, there is a float in the pan if you have a leak and the pan fills with water

Sounds like a bad pump. If it drains the water and doesn't deliver at arms the pump is more than likely bad. First of all pull the water supply line off and see if there is build up from hard water on the in-line screen (if present), then If you are mechanically inclined you should pull the pump/motor and remove housing to check for any obstructions and or build-up if you have hard water.

Remove the bottom strainers and make sure that there is nothing obstructing the outlet pipe and the pump. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine again before using it again.
