SOURCE: incoming call

During a call press the volume buttons on the left side of the screen. The volume buttons are those that seem like a large button but actually these are 2 depending on what side you press.

SOURCE: MOTOROLA H800 WIRELESS HEADSET

I took mine apart to see what the problem was, the two wires that go to the mic had be broken. Probably by the sliding motion of the boom. Gonna try to fix it if i can..don't know, It will probably do the same thing again. Always remember- THE MORE MOVING PARTS TO SOMETHING THE MORE THERE IS THAT CAN GO WRONG!

I have a tk-250 I can receive calls but cant transmit when I go to talk and all it does it beeps what do I do

You may have the "tx offset" turned on and may be trying to transmit on a frequency that is considered "out of band" for the radio. Or the frequency you're attempting to transmit on is simply out of band for that radio. It depends on where in the world you're using the radio. If it was a Euro or Japan radio and you're in the US or South America, the bands are different.

Hi Walter,

When you're out riding with your mates, how close to the person you are trying to talk to is from you on the road?

If you are within 2 metres of the person you are trying to contact, neither they nor you will hear each other, keep at least 5 or more metres from each other and you should be able to chat with each other, remember that radio waves need room to move in before they are receiveable.

These units are low powered, that is to say no more than 1 watt rf output power, so the most distance that these radios can transmit to is about 5 kilometres line of sight only.

I hope this helps

Regards,
Peter

The person I am speaking with does not hear me (He is deaf).
The microphone function does not appear to be working. I have adjusted the volume and that's not the problem (You must speak as well).
I have plugged both jacks (microphone and speaker) into my PC hard drive and am using my PC to talk on Skype (You cant plug even a single jack in the hard drive).
Problem solved!
