Your machine is rather vaguely Informing you either that a water supply line is open or should be opened.

check the operation of the solenoid valve
check that the tap washer is opening with the turning of the tap as they can become enlarged and jam in the hole in the tap

What doest mean "open tap"?

Hi Pierre
My Guess would be
Perhaps.... Open the Steam Valve Tap.
Used for Hot Steam to Milk

My Coffee machine has a switch attached that gets activated when I rotate the steam valve to full open.
It uses this also during a descale procedure
Cheers

Miele w310..drum fills with water slowly after a wash.put my head in...cant hear water leaking into it..

Did you open the water tap complete? When it is open all the way already, please close the tap complete and remove the hose and check the filter closest to the tap. Eventually clean it and put the hose back. Don't forget to open the tap again and check you did tighten the hose. (No leakage)

My Jura Capresso E 8 is stuck in open tap filling system. I open tap it says filling system, it says close tap, when I close the tap it goes back into open tap. Float valve looks fine, water is moving

Open the tap with frother spout off. This happened to mine and I took the frother tip off and opened tap with tip off. Water filled and I closed tap...Machine returned "Ready". I heated water in microwave for three minutes- placed frother tip in hot water and all kinds of gunk came out. Lesson learned- Do a thorough cleaning of frother by immersing it in very hot water at least once monthly- even if you don't use it

Filter change

this was absolutely the problem with my Jura Capressa E-8 machine. I followed instructions after changing the filter. I opened tap-machine stated that it was filling system- I closed tap when instruction. The open tap remained on because no water was filling system. I took the frother tip off and opened tap. Water filled system (container under frother). I closed tap without the frother tip. Machine Ready.... (I heated water in microwave for three minutes) I placed the frother tip in there and used a wooden skewer to ensure frother was clear of debris... Worked like a charm!

I have a AWG345/4 washing machine and when it`s filling up with water it starts to flash E 14, what does this indicate is wrong. Keith

it means it is not getting enough water into the unit quick enough. check the tap is fully opened. if the tap is a quarter turn type tap the restrictor may be jamming in the tap. you can just remove this with a pair of long nose pliers. if the tap is ok check for any kinked hoses. if that is all ok the inlet valve will be faulty inside the unit and not opening up enough and would need to be changed

Slow filling with cold water

Hiya,
this can be a water presure issue with your mains or maybe the inlet tap to your machine is not open fully i would surgest checking the connection tap is open fully & allowing the maximum amount of water through to your machine.. if you sink taps run slow then this would be a sign of your water mains presure needing attention.. presure can also be reduced by using water around the house at the same time as the machine is on for example running a bath, dishwasher, flushing the toilet etc.

Hope this helps

I keep getting open tap and when I open tap, its says close tap. I have unplugged it and it still continues the loop.

I have had this happen when trying to change filters and go through the rinse procedure. For me the problem was that the little hole on the frothing wand was plugged. Once I cleared the little chuck of dried milk everything started working again.

Water barely trickels in

Could be low water pressure, test by opening the cold tap/faucet on the nearest sink.
Hoses could be kinked, or taps not open or clogged with grime, also there may be filters washers fitted to the hoses, on either end.
Or the valves in the machine could be faulty.
