Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean by "accessing". Individual apps will ask for permission to access your SD card when you first run them. Is your SD card not appearing in Settings?

How to reset DTC GT5S

try this one About SRSRoot SRS-Root is an easy to use solution for rooting your android device, the software contains multiple exploits to gain root access on your device.
  • SRSRoot Supports Android versions 1.5, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2
  • We can Root latest models like Samsung Galaxy S2 / S3, Note / Note2 etc
  • We have an Option to remove root from your device by one-click.
  • Powered by SRS Server *Safe Rooting without flashing your device*

  • Why Root

Let's start with why you would want to root your Android smartphone. Sometimes apps require special permission that the Android OS, which is based on Linux doesn't allow. These could be simple as taking a screenshot to higher level permissions to the core Android files. Rooting makes your phone faster, increases battery life, allows it to run more apps, custom software and ROMs which allow complete control over every aspect of your device by allowing superuser and admin level permission. Removing carrier bloatware is a particularly enticing application.
However, rooting isn't for everyone. If you don't know what a command prompt is or you have trouble handling .zip files, please don't root. The risk of bricking your expensive device to get speed gains and improvements only Android enthusiasts can appreciate is not worth it. Lastly, rooting can void your phone's warranty so please make sure you follow instructions to the letter. Also, back up your data before you root android!

You cannot access the data on this computer

It normally happen when you tried to access a file or folder which is saved on any other user which is password protected.

But yes still if you have administrative privileges you can access this file.

    For this.

Do a right click on the file and folder and go to propeties.
Then go to security and give permission to "everyone" user after that open the properties once again and give full permission to "everyone".

My pandigital android tablet will not turn on or off it just keeps trying.

I had that problem too. Your firmware is corrupt. You will need to go to http://www.pandigital.net/pandigitalnovel
and click on "Firmware Updates Click Here" Link and follow the instruction. You might need to copy the firmware directly to the SDcard root /sdcard and reboot your tablet by pressing on the power button AND the UP volume button at the same time until you see the reboot sequence screen. Good Luck

You should be able to use the songs as ringtonesby selecting music instead of system sounds when trying to assign ringtones.
I know that certain music apps don't allow the songs to show up when trying toassign ringtones. You can move the songs to: sdcard - media - audio - ringtonesand you should be able to find them then. Good luck

When i click on folder lock it gives me a msg as you may not have appropriate permissions to acess the item.

This is generally a preset feature in later operating systems. If you continue the operation, you should be prompted to grant yourself permission to access the folder and windows will no longer ask you for rights afterward.
If you are on a networked computer, you will have to ask the owner to give you permission to the folder you are requesting access to, because it is a security feature.
