Dating a cartier pasha watch

no because your watch has a eta movement made by the swatch company cartier buy the movement from eta then decorate it and sign the rota with there logo the movement could be 2yrs old before cartier get the watch to retail...ie. sat in the shop window. only cartier could tell you when your watch was manufactured..the srial numbers you provide identify what the movement is using cartiers own code to identify the movement and one is for the the model ie. seatimer..

Need a new watch movement

I am not sure which Vincente model you have but I can tell you that the movements for those are Swiss made. That may not seem like much but there's not a lot of info on them.
Chances are it's an ETA movement and if not there's an ETA movement that should fit it. ETA is one of the top Swiss movement makers around. You will find their movements in more watch over $1500 then I care to mention. You should be able to get a movement for around $150 plus installation. You will need to go to a watch repair shop so find a good one.
Hope this helps.

I am about to buy tag heuer link calibre 36 limited edition 1996/2000 and is got these numbers at the base cn111b.ba0337 and a signature and a japanese name is this watch original? thanks

Fake Tags are common! The only surefire way to tell if its real is by the movement! They use Swiss ETA movements. Fakes use Japanese movements! If you are purchasing this watch online...well good luck! If you can take it to a watch repair company then I would suggest that before you buy so they can open the case back and see what kind of movement is in it! A real Tag will cost upwards of $1500 plus and I would think a Limited Edition would be even more!

Good luck!

I have a Breitling Chronomat! I have to adjust the time everyday when I get up in the morning. For some reason it stops working in the middle of the night. I thought that since these watches are automatic,...

They should not stop during the night. You are right.

Several things could be happening with your watch. Either the mainspring is weak, broken or is slipping too much.

This is a repair that will require a qualified watchmaker to perform. Not just any watchmaker can service this watch. they need to have been trained how to service an ETA 7750 movement. Preferably a watchmaker that was trained by ETA.

The movement in your watch (ETA 7750) is a very complicated movement. It has over 450 parts and there are certain parts that require special handling.

Unfortunately the way the movement is made there is no way to repair the mainspring problem without completely disassembling the movement. So this requires a complete service of the movement.

I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear but I hope it helps.

You can if you have following:

2) Watchmaking skills,
3) Watch engineering knowledge,
4) All necessery watchmaking hand tools,
4) Watchmakers lathe,
6) Microdrill,
7) Omega or ETA manufactured quartz movement
8) Original Omega dial for this particular movement,
9) Watch hands for this particular dial.
At the very end your watch will have no market value at all exept sentimental value for yourself.

Cartier, real or fake?

Best way to tell is to open the watch and see who the manufacturer of the mechanism is. I think Cartier would use ETA movements. If it's some cheap plastic, no (0) jewel mechanism then it's fake for sure.

Need a new stem. Can I purchase on and get it put on myself

You have to open your watch and find movement number. Use an eyeglass as the numbers are very tiny. Number is pressed onto one of movement plates and shoud be letters ETA+number.
When this is done, visit your nearest watchmaker shop and ask for stem for movement ETA+number. Do not tell this is for Ebel or you will be charged accordingly to brand name.
There should be no problems for supplying ETA stem.
