Forgot a password...need your help
Non-sequiteur insufficient response.
In other words, electronic stuff are really not bright; not knowing what electronics thing you forgot your password makes it impossible to ask this question and get a useful answer. Please give as much detail as possible, and try again. Sorry. Plus, keep in mind, there's a reason why we use passwords. It's so someone who doesn't know the password can't get in. So, if it's your computer, and you've been maximally secured, like have an encrypted drive. Your only option would be to reset and lose all your data. If it's a program, contact the developer of the program. But, like I said, if you lose the password for your intuit accounting program, you can contact the developer; but, as with most things even if not accounting; better be able to prove that you're the owner (like filled out the warranty), or someway to tell them. Facebook, you're out of luck, make a new account, and remember to put your password where you'll remember it. I could go on; but, basically, it depends upon what it is; but, losing a password for something on our machine is almost the worst thing that could happen. For the simple reason, the company wan't to protect your data if it isn't yours. If it is yours, you'll have to prove it, and even then, no guarantee; you could have stolen the real owner's ID. I know this doesn't help you. But, more details please, and remember, I tried to help. :-( Sorry.
