What cause the whit and black dots to cover tv screen

This could be something on the lens or mirrors. you can open one or both porthole covers on the left or right side of TV to determine if this is the cause. You can look at the mirrors & lens to determine if a bug or dust has gotten on either part. Then clean.

HOWEVER, the most likely cause is the DLP chip. this causes white & or black dots. May start out as one or two, then multiply.

The dots can be caused by your power supply or by one of the sustain boards on your TV. You can get parts from www.interliquidparts.com

I just had this too when I call BLACK SCREEN. ok I figured mine out. Laser has a control 2 dots on the top left front looking at the screen,that turn the screen off when it gets close to your face so you don't operate the screen. If you have a phone cover on these dots may be covered sensing your face is there and causing the BLACK SCREEN. Take the cover off and try it out.

well u have stopped ur movies(dvds) to many times and the dots are burn marks on ur screens
if u read ur manual it will tell u NOT to leave a still picture on for to long as it will damage ur screen
i assume u have a PLASMA TELEVISION
if not... sorry cant help u

This prob.can't not be fix U have a radiations leakage screen prob.The only way to solve this is to replace LCD screen itself,not worth the money,just junk it.

your dmd chip is defect this a good job you must tack emgine apart calculate atleast 200 dollars
