Trouble Installing Java

Using Firefox and IE. java will not install. Keep getting Error 25099. Went to java.com to get help resolving the error. The resolution says to uninstall previous versions. I have no previous versions. It also says to remove jqs.exe from the task manager. That file is not in the task manager. Then it says to type net stop ''Java Quick Starter'' in the Command Prompt Window. I get ''The specified service does not exist as an installed service.'' PLEASE HELP. By the way I am using Windows XP

Everytime i keep trying to load yoville on my fb a/c it wont load up at all i keep getting "stack overflow :126" but i created an a/c for my daughter and yoville loading straight up for her and i wondered...

It's probably a browser or windows error if using IE - try using firefox or a different browser. Yoville also has occasional loading problems that generally get fixed fairly quickly. Stack overflow means the program has run out of memory space to store parameters to - the solution to this would be to clear your browser and try login again. ( Internet options for IE or clear private data on firefox), then restart your windows. It also is possibly a java script error - you can update java for IE at http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
To fix IE6, usually there is a check box in add/remove programs, windows components, uncheck it, then recheck it and it will install IE again. If using IE6SP1, it will possibly be listed as a program in add/remove programs, simply click uninstall and it will then offer a repair or restore option, use repair. Restart is required. If using IE8, try going back to IE7, uninstalling will revert back to the 7 version. The 7 version works far better than 8. You might also try updating your flash player if the problem persists.

I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH FIREFOX/JAVA. I KEEP GETTING BAD SCRIPT ERRORS THAT CRASH FIREFOX OR FREEZE MY P.C. I RUN WINDOWS VISTA AND HAVE THE NEWEST FIREFOX WITH IMACROS. ALSO MY FLASH PLAYER SEEMS TO BE...

Java is your first problem get rid of that malware... second problem is you don't have a mac, haha, just kidding, but seriously get one.
To answer your question, I would try uninstalling your add ons 1 or 2 at a time to see which one will fix er back up. If that does not work, get Revo uninstaller from download.com and use it remove firefox (and java) completely. You can download the newest version any time for free. Personally I dont like a lot of background processes so I use the portable version of firefox which is also free.

Java-problem in Firefox

I think they meant the software altogether.
Here's the link, just install.
If you already have java then repair your IE and reinstall Firefox.
Click Start, then Control Panel, then Add/Remove Program, go to Internet Explorer, right click IE then select repair.
Do the same thing for Mozilla Firefox, except this time uninstall then reinstall program.
That might work. Let me know.

Incase it's easier in Dutch:
Laat me het weten.

Java sun

Another solution is to download the complete update, and manually install. Therefore bypassing the incremental download situation, and further determining if it is a legitimate software bug, or corrupted incremental download packets.

i.e. Download and install the redistributable package from Sun..
