Probably the rotor has come to a stand still (carbonade). I suggest you will clean the rotor with an house-hold acid liquid (like the one for cleaning coffeemachines).

Try tapping on the opening in the bottom of the toilet, the valve that opens, with a broom handle while flushing to see if it has somhow gotten stuck. There is also a micro switch in the groove that the blade turn knob slids into, this could be bad as well as the pump may have been damaged, it is under the toilet roll holder. Here is a link to their repair site.
