SOURCE: ignis dishwasher model no. adl 347

I have the same problem. Having spoken to an engineer I have been told that the controller has gone. £120 for a new one plus fitting. So you are looking at a £200 bill to repair. Not worth it ???

SOURCE: Keep seeing red light with a arrow pointing down

It is very likely you have a stuck float inside the coolant resevoir tank. This is very, very common. First verify that you are indeed low on coolant. If not, remove the tank, fill half way with warm water and drip in a few drops of dish soap. With the cap on and covering both openings, shake it like you're a mad man. Rinse it out then shake it and listen for a rattling noise. If you dont hear anything, time to replace the tank. The float is integrated into the tank.

It may be the temperature light. It's hard to say by your description. Take a look inside the owner's manual to confirm.

SOURCE: how much rinse aid do I put in my dishwasher and

The dispenser will take about 6 oz of rinse aid if completely empty. It will only need filled every couple months depending on how often you do dishes.

If you are getting poor drying performance or spotting use a rinse aid that is called 'Turbo Dry'.

The arrow is how much rinse will dispense each load. Start out near the center, if you see spotting or turn it up slightly and try another load.

DW80F800. What does 5E error code indicate?

Hello. Straight out of the service manual for your dishwasher...the 5E error comes from the low level switch not being detected within 3 minutes during the drain cycle...possible causes...clogged drain line, broken wire on the drain pump, defective drain pump, bad ECS, bad main board--in that order. Absolutely make sure there isn't something jammed in the drain pump that could slow it down or jam the impeller. Also, those drain brakes can be a real problem with mold/mildew gumming up the inside--once mold grows in these things, you MUST replace it--I've tried the cleaning route--it just comes back. I hope this helps you.

What does the cell phone symbol with a broken arrow mean on my nokia 2605 mean?

I know Nokia Uses 2 icons with arrows:

There's a icon that shows a crooked arrow up to the right, that means you have call forwarding on...

There's an bracket with an arrow pointing straight up, it means one of your sent messages - did not go through..

Dishwasher is not filling up with water but making a noise as if it is doig a wash cycle

Depending on which dishwasher you have it may run on a computer board,It allows so much time to fill and then starts the cycle,it doesn't know there is no water in it.
Check the float it will be in the front right or left corner most are accessible except GEs they have a cover over them held on by one screw, grab the float with your hand and move it straight up and down, make sure nothing is stuck under it and it moves freely, then start a cycle and see if you get water.
Check the valve under the sink or in the basement, make sure it is turned on,I know it sounds silly but I see it all the time.If you can disconnect the water line from the unit put it in a bucket turn it on and make sure you have water coming through the line.
If none of these work your going to need a Technician to look at it,unless you want to start changing parts one at a time till you hit the right one.

The 2H (not 2h) comes up and then runs for 99 minutes Shu5315

first off never ever run bleach in the dish washer bleach eats the rubber gasket seal; between the tank and the base causing it to leak in to the base of the d/w. if you get a 2H and the d/w continues to run and never stop toy have a bad heater that is easly figured out by putting an amp clamp on a meter and putting the d/w in delicate economy and checking the amp draw on your wire with out heater on the draw is usually 2 to 3 amps when heater comes on the draw will be 12 to 14 amps in delicate economy the machine drains for 15 sec fills with water after 1.4 gallons are in the machine the heater will kick on and heat up the incomming water to 150 degrees if you dont have the draw on the line it is usually the flow through heater.

Dishwasher backing up

sound like you have a few things going on there.there is a float switch which is located at the front right side of dish washer, make sure this floats freely . also sounds as through your drain line may have become plugged. Ease to fix , remove the line and hard line from the pump with a set of plyers. and remove the debris from the diaphram within the hard line.. before starting this be sure to remove as much water from within the dishwash, easiest way is to use a shop vac.

Water in not coming....

if you knwo the water line to be good, take off the toe kick plate below and find the inlet valve. It will have a connection with 2 wires on it. Pull the connection off and put a volt meter on it. Start a new cycle, and within a minute or 2 you should start reading 120 volts (or close to that) if you get voltage from the 2 wires, you have a bad or plugged fill valve. If you dont then you have bad wiring in the dishwasher, water lying in the bottom of the dishwasher, or a bad control board. Hope this helps!

Dishwasher fault

I got this with another dishwasher. On that one it meant the water wasn't feeding into it (tap switched off, kink in inlet tube, etc.)
