You can use a hair comb. You can also use a comb to clean your hair brushes. :)

How do I clean the brush area after using my Pro Heat?

The brush or brushes (depending on your model) can be removed if needed. Routine cleaning should just require removing hair and debris from the brushes and wiping the area around the brushes.
There should actually be very little hair or debris around the brush roll if the carpets are thoroughly vacuumed by a properly working vacuum cleaner before being cleaned.

It says to clean brushes and they are clean and it keeps making a clicking sound. Only 4 months old.

You need to remove the brush tray and clean all the parts behind the brush housing.

My roomba keeps telling me "error and to clean the brushes. I have cleaned the brushes and when I turn the roomba back on it keeps clicking underneath the roomba. I'm not sure what else to do.

I had the identical problem. I cleaned the brush but the problem persisted. I then put in a new brush that was provided in the box and the problem vanished. I have since used the cleaning tool on the old brush and will try and reinstall it to see if my cleaning worked. In any case a new brush will do the job.

My model F5906-900 --- problem is the brushes have stoped working... I pulled the brush assembly out by holding the two tabs, and all seems clean and the brush assembly rotates easly... onced the brush...

(1) Assure the Brush Control on the hood is NOT set to the OFF position.
(2) Remove the brush assembly by pulling/unlatching it from base on each side.
(3) Does one of the brushes have the drive pin present? It should be about ¼ inch square, and two inches long. It attaches the brushes to the drive mechanism.
(4) Remove and clean the intake filter. One the base of the cleaner, behind the brushes, squeeze the two red abs together and pull the panel down to access the screen. Clean the hair/debris off the screen and reassemble.

Roomba keeps saying clean brushes yet are clean!

Make sure you take off the little cap at the end (the one that spins -- just grab it and pull it straight off) and clean under it too. The rest of the brush may look perfectly clean but what happens is that hair gets stuck under spinning cap and, like a slowly growing washer, it pushes the whole brush toward the gear box. When it gets pushed over enough, the large yellow ring starts to rub against the side of the brush deck making it harder for the motor to turn the brush and you get that "remove and clean brushes" message.

"Please clean Roombas brushes"

Same thing happened to me. After "cleaning" the brushes and emptying the filter several times, I realized that the brushes were not properly secured. One of the yellow fasteners needed to be pushed closer to the middle nearer to the brushes. It was not secured properly. When I did this it fixed my problem.

Please clean Roomba s brushes warning will not stop after brushes have been cleaned Unit shuts off after one minute of cleaning

Clean the yellow brush bearings. Then run the Roomba without the dustbin, so that you can watch the brush while the unit is cleaning. Is it turning? If not, call customer support. 877-855-8593. Have your Roomba with you; they will want information from it. Good luck.
