the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)

SOURCE: 4 blinking lights

I fixed it myself!
I bit the bullet and ordered a replacement Power Board for AUS$290 and swapped it out myself.
Only took ten minutes, most of that time was removing and replacing the 101 screws holding the back panel on!
Working fine again now.
I did sit the two boards side by side and noticed the new one had moved some of the micro components from the back of the board to the front plus some other small component changes.
If your handy with a screw driver and have some technical knowhow I recommend having a go at fixing it yourself as it wasn't hard and probably saved $200 in service charges (all this assuming you are out of warranty!)

SOURCE: I just bought my first

Hello
If you are watching only transmissions through your tv, it is best for you to goto its menu, and select factory serrings. From which if you wants you can move to their pre-determined picture modes such as Vivid, Standard, Cenema & Custorm; according to your viewing taste. Standard will be the best.
You may have its manual with you I thinks. Goto page 44-45 to get how can you set these settings. If you haven't the manual, inform me please. OK.

I have a Panasonic HDTV model number TC-P42C2 IT won't turn on and there is a light that blinks 7 times over and over what can I do. Or do you know what is wrong

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Is the Panasonic TC-P42C2 supposed to have a flashing red light that suggests which board is the problem? If there is no red light, what does it suggest?

Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
