SOURCE: Does not Spin out the water at the end of a load

If it spins the balance is okay. Check out your filter now. And then the pump (after the spigot prob below) Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

Rate me pl.....if helped.

SOURCE: Washer spins but not enough to extract water from clothes or tub.

could be a loss belt or a kinked hose, since you say it feels weak i would think it is not getting up to speed which would be a loss belt or drive train issue, of course it could just be to big a load or on slow spin speed setting

Why is my maytag Neptune Model no# MAH5500AWW spinning very slow and not draining water out?

Complete drain must occur before spin. A no drain situation would be an actual full pool of water seen in the bottom of the machine if all the cloths were removed, sounds like you are experiencing a spin enable switch failure, which mainly prevents final high speed spin leaving the cloths dripping wet. The spin enable switch contacts become tarnished/corroded over time resulting in poor connection. If the door lock light comes on than your door lock wax motor is working. The spin enable switch is the last switch to the right in the door lock unit where the light bulb is. Part# is 22002162. If there is an actual pool of water in the bottom of the machine as if you simply removed the cloths from the unit but left the wash water, than you should look first look to your drain pump for failure, or obstruction of foreign objects, or excess lint in the pump. Washer completes cycle 100% but then it restarts and starts filling all over again/ rewashes in essence

Dear William, I guess first you have to check if the start switch is shorted. When you turn on the machine, does it automatically go into cycle? If yes, then your start switch is faulty. Otherwise, you may have to replace your timer/sequencer.

Whirlpool washer won't rinse or spin w/o manually turning knob

It is most likely that you have a faulty water inlet valve. Some machines have a seperate valve for rinse to flush in a fabric softener I suspect that your detergent flushing valve is faulty.....Good luck Nomess

My wash machine wash the clothes but not doing the final spin, all the clothes all soak and wet

Handyman here -

Its possible that the door is not locking properly. If the door doesn't lock the machine will wash, but not spin the clothes dry. If you wait 15mins or so after machine is done, then set cycle to spin, it will pump any water that has dripped off your clothes out, but again it will not spin. Helps a little.

Good Luck!

Water left in clothes

The shaft was designed to rotate into 2 directions: one for agitation, one for spinning. The spinning direction is controlled by a mechanism from the clutch engagement. When your plastic pulley wears out, it effects the mechanism to spin. The driving force for spinning is slipped, therefore the spin is weak As a matter of fact, the water remaining in clothes n in turn discharges to the bottom tube

Clothes wet when cycle is done

The clothes are wet after spinning When the clothes are wet at the end of a cycle, check these:

Motor coupler
Spin cycle
Siphoning
Water-inlet valve
Motor coupler To test the motor coupler, re-start the washer in its spin cycle. Let the machine run for a minute, and then open the lid and notice whether the tub is spinning:

  • If it's spinning when you lift the lid, the coupler is fine.

  • If it isn't spinning--and your machine was produced by Whirlpool®--you may have a broken coupler. Many Whirlpool-made washers use a small, relatively inexpensive device called a motor coupling. This plastic-and-rubber component is mounted to the shaft of the motor on one side, and to the transmission on the other. Over time, the coupler wears out and fails. When that happens, you need to replace it completely.

Spin cycle If the washer doesn't reach its proper spin speed, the clothes may be too wet at the end of a cycle. Check to be sure the load is properly balanced and run a spin cycle again. If the clothes are still wet, you may have a worn or loose belt , a worn clutch , or a worn motor pulley or tub bearing. Replace the applicable component.

Alternatively, there could be clothes caught between the inner and outer tubs. Read the "It spins but won't pump" section of the "It won't drain" section. Also, there could be other things that cause friction on the drive train. Seek the assistance of a qualified appliance repair technician.

Siphoning If the water that pumps from the machine goes right back into the machine after the spin cycle, it may be because your washer is siphoning the water from a laundry tub with a slow drain, back into the washer. Try to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is there something stuck in the drain?) Also, be sure the drain hose doesn't reach more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub. If it does, cut off the excess.

Water-inlet valve Water-inlet valves eventually fail. One problem that may develop with a water-inlet valve is that it can no longer completely shut off when the electricity is turned off to it. Then, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub--you may notice that your washer has water in it when you haven't used it for a few days. To fix this, replace the valve.

thanks and plse do not forget to accept the solution.
