number 2 cylinder has broken rings ,or the coilpack/leads need replacing check for current to fuel pump if no power checkfor spark if no spark either it could be immobiliser

it sounds like you may have the wires on the wrong coil. It should be #1 on the #4 coil, and the #3 wire on the #2 coil. you probably have them backwards so 1 and 3 are firing on the exhaust stroke.
the firing order is 1-3-4-2.
they should be hooked like this.

get a test light and do some tests for power and ground. some of these gens have a start switch on the gen. doing the remote start feature test will take two people to do, one to play with the switch and you outside at the gen probing. this is a good test light cheap I recommend.
you also might want to pull the remote and inspect the wires

If you have changed sparkplug and coil and cleaned flywheel, you probably have a kill wire problem. Disconnect kill wire from coil and try again.

Onan 2800 generator sops when a/c is turn on

While you didn't indicate the btus of the HVAC I assume it worked before? What you are describing sounds like the engine isn't making horsepwer. A 2800 is a small unit that a HVAC and some lights is about all it can stand. The HVAC takes about 6 x current to start it, than it does to run it. If this inrush is high and the generator engine isn't producing full HP then it will shut off and die on under frequency. I would recommend having and engine leakdown test done (not a compression test, as that doesn't tell the whole story. This will ensure all valves and rings are mechanincally in good shape, then try a basix tune up, plugs filters etc.

Can't get number 2 cyclinder to fire. See spark when I pull the wire off. Looks the same as number 3 but can't tell if its fuel injector issue or not enough spark?

Have you switched the spark plugs to see if it is a bad plug ?
Switching the plug in cyl 2 with another cyl will tell you if the plug is bad if the problem moves to the other cyl.
It takes alot more voltage to fire a plug in a compressed cyl than it does out in the open. If the plug is fuel soaked it will never fire.

Have a 5600 Gen. with 10 HP B/S engine OHV. Did great during Rita, replaced carb- changed gas-replaced plug- doesn't want to fire it seems. Where Can I find the magneto ? Are there points on the flywheel...

The magneto is by the flywheel. Depending on the age, there maybe points under the flywheel. If so you remove the flywheel and there the points are. Sometimes bugs build cacoons between points, make them inoperable. Newer engines have electronic ignition though. Follow the small wire from the magneto coil ( where the spark plug wire goes) it will either go under the flywheel through a plastic bushing, or to an electronic module. The magneto coils do fail you can test with an ohm meter. Before that test for spark. You can remove the spark plug, and let it rest on the engine to get ground, and turn the engine over. You always need 1-spark, 2 fuel . If you have spark, see if it will hit on starting fluid, if it does, then you have a carb or fuel filter issue. Those shut off valves on the bottom of those tanks, can be a problem

ok, since you have the points, I assume you have the B43g Onan
engine. Was it running before the new parts were installed?
Check your point gap and make sure it is .016, plugs ahould be gapped at .025 Make sure your plug wires are good too. Should be somewhere between 0 and 10,000 ohms per foot, when measured with an ohmmeter. Once everything is rechecked for gap distance, make sure there is no spark by pulling plug out, leaving wire on and ground the outside of plug to the chassis of the tractor.
Crank over and look for the spark. Coils are about $100, so you want to eliminate everything else first.
Diagnosing a points ignition for no spark is really simple. Do you have 12V at the coil? Do you get a spark when you connect and disconnect the negative terminal of the coil to ground? If not you have a bad coil.
