SOURCE: Output voltage of 120volt AC brick & approx dimensions

Any PC speakers that have a AC plug pak attached can probably use 12V simply cut off the AC plug packs lead that goes to the speakers, and connect up 12V ya should be good to go.. some connect with a Phono Plug, and usually the Outer is Minus Voltage and the Centre is Plus Voltage .. they are also generally Diode protected so a reversal shouldn't cause too many probs... It will not trurn on does the ac adapter need replacement it is over 10 yrs old

Look at adapter, see what output is supposed to be- maybe 12 volts DC? Find a multimeter that will measure DC voltage, and see if the output plug has that across the connector. If you have an ordinary power cord without an adapter, it will have 120 volts AC like any other cord, which you can also measure on AC scale, but be careful as you can get a dangerous shock, just like you can from an ordinary household outlet.
Note: AC voltage may vary by country.

Motor tripping out power supply

The input to your treadmill is about 120 volts Ac. The output from the board will be about 30 Ac. Almost nothing on there will be measured in DC. Your particular issue is your motor controller. It needs to be replaced.

Where is the generator

left side, there are three wires going into casing.they go to the stator. FUSES and volt regulator can appear to be bad alternator too.charge battery first, then unplug the three wire connector ,start bike , with voltmeter in volts ac check for output on these wires(do not check against ground but from one to the other until all 3 combinations have been noted) if none can be found its bad,or if all 3 combos do not have 50 volts AC or so with engine rpms around 2000 .next is volt reg. its output is in DC volts and should be 12 to 15 volts dc.

Can A cobra inverter be plugged in to 115AC for DC 12volt output

in a word no!,,,,it cannot and you may blow it up if you hook it up to the 115ac volt supply,,,in side it there is a switch mode power transistor,,that bumps up the 12 volts to 115 volts it only works the one way,,that is 12 volts dc in and 115 volts ac out,,,,

Vgn fs 980 adapter how to tell if it is not working

AC adapter? Test the output voltage.

Use a multimeter.
Stores like Radio Shack, Walmart, and auto parts stores, for a few examples have cheap one's you can buy.
About $12.

Set the multimeter knob to DC volts, and the 0 to 50 Volts scale.

The middle hole of the AC adapter plug is the Positive connection. This is where the Red lead goes.

The outer shield of the plug is the Negative connection. This is where the Black lead goes.

Look on the AC adapter for the OUTPUT VOLTAGE
(Not shouting)

Example:
I'm looking at an AC adapter for an IBM Thinkpad 370, right now.

INPUT: 100V 50-60Hz 130A
OUTPUT: 18V ~~~3.36A

The Output voltage is 18 Volts
The Output Voltage of your AC adapter should be close to this.

Diffrence bwetween ac in volts and dc

DC is direct current and AC is alternating current.

eg; 12 volts DC stays 12 volts constantly, positive or negative.

12 volts AC (at 60 Hertz or cycles per second) alternates from positive to negative then back to positive voltage again 60 times per second.
