SOURCE: HOOKING UP???

An eq has to plug into and amplifier so if you only have 1 amp, you go from the rca output from your deck into the eq, then into your amp. The power you should be able to parallel right from the remote, 12+, and ground from the amp. Your eq will only equalize your subwoofer unless your mids and highs were hooked up to amplifiers too. If this helps, be sure to leave me good feedback. Dan

SOURCE: how can i get my power to my EQ?

What kind of eq is it? First thing I would do is hook up the +12 and GND to the same place the amp is hooked up. I think the eq is having a hard time getting ample current, therefore shutting off all the way when the bass hits. Caps are good, but second battery and battery isolator are far superior.

SOURCE: PACKARD BELL CD/RADIO/MP3 PLAYER. MODEL PB OP 10

This is not for connecting an MP3 player, but rather for playing MP3-CD's. Using your computer and a CD burner, you can burn a CD with up to about ten hours worth of MP3s on it. The procedure for creating the disc varies depending on your burning software. In Nero, for example, you would select "Music" and then "MP3 Disc" and then select the songs you want to put on the disc. For other software you just select "burn a data disc" and then select the MP3 files you want.

Once you have a CD full of MP3s, put it in the Packard-Bell stereo's CD player, and you will be able to play all the MP3 files that are on the CD. THe advantage, of course, is being able to put ten hours on one CD instead of only 80 minutes.

Hi i just got a ava1202 boss eq it didnt have instructions this eq has rca inputs and high level speaker inputs can i use this eq with out an amp can smeone plz help me thnk u

Yes you can use the equalizer without an amplifier. That is what the high level speaker inputs are for. You simply take the positive and negative from a speaker and hook it up to the positive and negative high level speaker inputs on the equalizer.

Whats the red wire is it constant power? When I ground it can I put it to the radio ground?

You should have a yellow wire that is constant, and the red is for the ignition. It's what signals the EQ to turn on. You can hook the ground up to the radio ground. It's not advisable to do it that way, but you can. The reason why it's not a good idea is because you should use a bigger wire when you connect two smaller wires. Most wires behind the radio are about 16 gauge. Using bigger wire number sizes for an amp as an example, you could use a four gauge wire to a distribution block. From there you would use two eight gauge wires to go directly to the amps. This helps electricity travel the path of least resistance. It does not matter so much on smaller wires.

In order to hook up an after market amplifier to a stock stereo your going to have to use a line output converter to adapt it to RCA cables to hook up to your amplifier.
