SOURCE: I have a Maytag LSE7806ACE. When I press the start button on the dryer the buzzer sounds and the dryer does not start

Have you tried opening the dryer door and holding down the door switch and the start button while a 2nd person manually spins the dryer drum? (all has to be done simultaniously) if dryer starts after doing that then most likely bad motor.Probably a bad switch mounted to the motor. Take the cover off and clean the switch contacts.
Here is the start switch but I think it is unavailable. Call the number at the top of the page and they might be able to get it for you.

How do I prevent the beeper from beeping when the dryer cycle is finished? I did not press the beeper button but I can't seem to program it so it does not beep. Please help. Thank you. My dryer is a T...

In your manual it says if the indicator light is on then the buzzer is on so to turn off the buzzer at the end of your program you would press the button again. Heres is that section from your manual

5. Select the buzzer (if desired)

^ Press the "Buzzer" button to have a

tone beep at the end of the program.

Indicator light:

on = buzzer selected

off = buzzer not selected

To adjust the buzzer volume:

- turn the dryer on

- close the door

- select a program

- if the indicator is lit, press the

"Buzzer" button so the indicator light

goes out.

^ Press and hold the "Buzzer" button

until its indicator is lit and you hear
the desired volume and tone.
also if you need the manual for your machine your can get it directly from this link click here

I have a frigidaire affinity dryer that will dry for a few minutes then turn off and say e68 wich means one of the buttons are stuck i took the panel of the front and checked the buttons and they all seem...

Run the service diagnostic mode to determine which button is stuck. Start by pressing and holding the Select and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds to reset the control.
jahn27_112.jpg

Rotate the cycle selector knob 5 turns counterclockwise to the second position from the bottom immediately after the buzzer sounds.
jahn27_113.jpg

Press and hold the Options and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The control enters the test mode and the buzzer will sound 3 times with all of the LEDs flashing.
jahn27_114.jpg

Rotate the cycle selector knob 4 turns clockwise to the second position from the top and the dryer motor runs with the heating element off. The buttons can now be tested to determine which is stuck.
jahn27_115.jpg

Press each button and all corresponding LEDs should light. If the LEDs corresponding to a certain button lights up without pressing the button or if the LEDs do not light up when the button is pressed, that button must be stuck or not making any contact when pressed.

Replace the control board if the stuck button cannot be unstuck or if there's no button that's apparently stuck but the fault code persists. Let us know if you need further advice.

Hi

Error E68 on Frigidaire dryer means that One of the keys (buttons) is stuck closed (active). Please check whether any button is pressed or stuck. Also try removing the lint filter and clean the contacts of the inside of the filter.
Try performing function test to check which button is at fault. Enter function test mode and perform key (button) test to determine which button is at fault. Carefully free the and perform the test again. If button is free but the key struck code still exists then you'll need to replace the electronic control.

Function Test--

1. Press and hold Select and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds to reset the control. The buzzer will sound 1 time and “rES” will be shown briefly in the display.
2. Immediately after, rotate cycle selector knob 5 turns counter-clockwise to the second position from the bottom. Press and hold the Options and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The control will enter test mode, the buzzer will sound 3 times and all LED’s will rapidly flash.
To EXIT test mode, press and hold the Select and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds or disconnect power from dryer. Dryer will be reset for regular operation.

Please post back for any further assistance.

What does error code e68 mean

One of the buttons is stuck closed or shorted. Enter the function test mode and perform the button test to determine which button is stuck or shorted. When determined which button, try to free or unstuck the button then perform the test again. Replace the user interface board when the button is freed but the code still exists.

Press and hold the SELECT and CANCEL buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds to reset the control. When resetting is successful, the buzzer will sound and "rES" will be shown briefly in the display, and then immediately rotate the cycle selector knob 5 turns in the counterclockwise direction to the second position from the bottom.

Press and hold the OPTIONS and CANCEL buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds to enter test mode; the buzzer will sound 3 times and all of the LEDs will flash rapidly.

Rotate the cycle selector knob 4 times in the clockwise direction to enter button test. Press the buttons one at a time and observe the LEDs corresponding to that button light up. The LEDs should light up; otherwise the button is stuck.

Press and hold the SELECT and CANCEL buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds to exit test mode.

Dryer stops after 20min. maytag model lse7806ace

Sounds like it's overheating, when is the last time you cleaned the vent. You should peridically (at least every 6 months) disconnect the vent pipe/hose at the back of the machine clean it in both directions with a canister vac. Also make sure the vent 'exit' on the exterior of your residence which has a flap isn't plugged or stuck in the closed position. If this doesn't help let me know and I'll be glad to help you further.

Buzzer won't go off when dryer is stopped - All else works fine - must leave door open

Fiddled around with the start button. It had gotten stuck in the on position and when I moved it around it freed up. I consider this a temporary fix only and have already ordered a replacement switch.

Clothes Dryer will not stop or be quiet

On some Kenmore which is made by whirlpool, there is a resistor connected to the timer control. when the machine is off can you listen to the timer switch and hear it running, making a clock ticking sound? If so, you need a new resistor. Being a dryer, when you open the door and it stops the button needs to be reset before it starts again, right? So I wouldnt be looking at the door switch as much as the start button. It may be the evil one.
