SOURCE: LEAKING BOSTITCH AIR NAILER

you probably have a trigger valve that is green. if so then it will have to be replaced, the valve runs about $ 20 but you can put it in your self.

SOURCE: dont know what kind of oil to put in my makita mac2400r compresso

If your compressor is used all day purchase synthetic blend compressor oil sold at lowes and other stores. It will increase the life of your machine. Sells for about $7. for 16oz. For normal use use standard air compressor oil sold at lowes, home depot and even at wal mart. Wal mart's Super Tech Air Compressor oil sells for less than $3. and works well. Do not use motor oil with detergent as this type of oil causes carbon deposits to build-up in the head and discharge hose which will eventually clog the check valve and lower efficiency. If you remove the plastic sight glass, use caution, because this part easily cracks. Purchase a spare sight glass and keep in your tool box. Good luck

SOURCE: air coming out the trigger of a stanley air gun

Go to the Stanley Bostitch website. Click on schematics & parts. Find your model number in the drop down list. There is a list of parts and pricing. Just above the parts is a link for the schematic. Honestly, I worked on these things for years. It is best to replace the entire trigger valve. It comes as a kit with instructions grease, and a little tool to hammer your pins out. Lemme know if this helps. Please rate me

SOURCE: air is coming out by the trigger of my stanley

Usually when this happens, a new trigger assembly is needed. See the link below for more information about diagrams and parts. Typical trigger kits will cost about $25. Please note that the exact model number of the gun is required.

Jim:
There is a leak somewhere... Use a soapy solution at the air tube from the compressor head to the tank (both ends) and at all air hose connections. The bubbles will tell you where the leak is and you can repair the connections from there...

Check the position of the switches and selectors. It sounds like you are in between settings. Also, put in a few drops of oil, and try your gun out on scrap wood, so oil doesn't come out on your good work.

An air compressor should have 30 weight non-detergent oil only, or it will foam up and not oil the bearings.

last things first, give it about 6 drops of oil before use in the morning and again after lunch. then try going to Bostitch.com and downloading a manual. the plug might be the air fitting that you need to connect it to a hose. Let me know if you need more help.

HOW DO I FIX AN AIR LEAK FOR A BOSTITCH MODEL N79RH?

were is the leak, all air tools need some TLC occasionally . Try putting some air tool oil in it and try it again, if this doesn't work you probably have to change a few o-ring, they break down after awhile especially if it hasn't been used in awhile .
