Question about Samsung Televison & Video
Standby 5 volt and other 13 volt is there when i disconnect the mainboard from the psu. but when i connect it it drops. you can see it comming back up but dropping real quick again. in like a unsteady flow of voltage. do you have any clue what i should check. should i focus on psu or the mainboard. btw the problem started after having a raspberry pi zero on the usb port for a day. then next day it wouldnt start no more. i do have the red led when i put in the power and it blinks.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Bad power board Planar PL2010M
There is a supplier of power boards online, you can google them with numbers from the board but I don't suggest using them. Look for information on the company also. I've seen a lot of complaints for this "international" company.
The fix for most of the problems on these monitors is about $8 on new capacitors (Plus shipping).
First check that you are getting a strong 12V from the external power adapter. If so, the problems may be as simple as changing out a few capacitors.
On the PL2010M monitors you need the following parts. I've added digikey part numbers to make life easier:
P10271-ND 220UF 25V Capacitor (3 or 4 depending on PS)
P10275-ND 470UF 25V Capacitor (1)
P10221-ND 470UF 10V Capacitor (4)
If you're not comfortable with soldering and de-soldering electronics, take it to a local technitian for the work and give them the parts list above. That should work to fix your issues. I've fixed several of these monitors so far. All the problems were related to the power supplies having bad capacitors. Same with the Planar PL1700 LCD monitors.

Testimonial: "bournetoride: Your suggestion on earth was excellent. Turns out battery could not pass a load test. No prior indication of failure. "

If/How long will it crank over before it stops? Are you saying it will crank over, but very slow? Has it been sitting quite a while. Got good spark, and fuel?

the voltage regulator is in the computer, check you battery with volt meter with engine off it should say 12volts then check it again with engine running and it should say 14-15 volts. if not the you will have to take it to a dealer to check the computer, hope this will help you!!!
