I will assume that your light has rechargable NiCad batteries. Use the following advice ONLY if you are sure this is true. If the light is more than a couple of years old, this is probably true. Of the plug has to fit, but it must also have the correct Polarity, Voltage, and Amperage. The spotlight should be labeled where you plug the charger into it with these three critical parameters. They will also be indicated on the chargers. POLARITY --- If it takes a round plug, the polarity is indicated by a symbol that looks like a C, usually with a plus sign inside of it (this indicates that the center contact is positive). VOLTAGE --- this will be expressed as VDC input on the light, and VDC output on the charger. The voltages only need to match within about 10%. AMPERAGE ---- this will be expressed as mA (milliamps, which is thousandths of amps) or as A (which is Amps). 1000 mA = 1 A. This doesn't need to match precisely either. But if it's too low, the charge will take a while and you might burn up the charger (possibly literally burning it). If the amperage on the charger is high, that's OK, so long as the voltage is not high as well.
I hope this helps, Thanks for using FixYa. Al Kupchella

Could really use your help repairing a WorkForce SportSpot WKF124HD. The WorkForce SportSpot 1,000,000 candle model WKF124HD Locking Trigger MOMENTARY SWITCH for on / off light control has failed.

You can try to find the O.E.M. part, take one from an old junked light, or find a generic switch from the hardware store and make it work. You diagnosed the problem already. You could replace it with a regular (DC) switch if you normally "lock" it on most of the time.
Miniature Pushbutton Switches
You might just consider replacing it, as it seems there is risk for fire with this model.

Lost charger for my vector sport spot 1,000,000 power series , where can I get another one?

To recharge the battery, you will need a 12VDC 300mA adapter. It will take 12 to 15 Hours to charge.
Take your light to Radio Shack, and make sure the barrel fits.

6 volts rechargeable battery. Check with the manufacture for a recharger for the 110v and or a car charger for your light.

I have a victorlite 1.5 million candle power spotlight lost charger but I have a 12 volt 1000ma- will that work??

If the voltage and tip polarity of your replacement charger matches the charging port on your spotlight, there's no reason why it shouldn't work as a substitute for your original charger. Note, however, that if your original charger was more powerful (say, 1.5 amps instead of the 1-amp charger you have here), it will take noticeably longer to fully charge your spotlight than the original charger took. it's not a problem if the original charger had a lower mA rating than the replacement in your hand--the spotlight will sip an appropriate amount of juice from the charger.

New wall Charger needed

Depends upon the model, but most use 12v 500Ma batteries w/ a barrel-pin connector.

You can buy one here, or search this site for your model:
