The charger lead should have been connected to a Residual Current Device, or Earth Leakage Breaker that should have flipped the power off. There should be a reset button on the plug.

Charge the mower for 14 hours before initial use. Charge mower indoors in a dry area out of the weather. DO NOT charge in rain or wet locations. IMPORTANT: Use only the battery charger provided with this mower. Plug the battery charger into the battery first, and then into any standard 110/120 volt household electrical outlet. See Fig. 3-9 for B battery charging location. A C NOTE: If an extension cord is required, use one that is at least wire size 16 AWG. Connect the extension cord to charger before plugging extension cord into electrical outlet. NOTE: You may charge the battery with the battery removed from the mower. IMPORTANT: Always recharge battery fully. It takes 14 hours to recharge a completely discharged battery. A flashing light on the battery charger indicates the battery is less than 80 percent charged; a solid green light indicates the battery is 80 to 100 percent charged. A full charge will be achieved in less than 14 hours if the batteries were only partially discharged. NOTE: It is recommended that the mower be charged once every two months during storage. IMPORTANT: Always disconnect battery charger (or extension cord, if used) from the electrical outlet first, then disconnect battery charger from battery. NOTE: It is recommended that the mower be charged immediately after it has been discharged. Storing batteries in a discharged state could reduce future performance. WARNING: The battery contains corrosive fluid and toxic material - HANDLE WITH CARE. Keep away from children. Do not puncture, disassemble, mutilate, or incinerate. Explosive gases could be vented during charging or discharging. Use in a well ventilated area, away from sources of ignition.

SOURCE: jet3 ultra power chair wont charge

If you have access to a voltmeter, put it on your battery then plug in the charger; if the voltage rises that will tell you that your charger is working.

SOURCE: can not find a drain plug in the 500 series push

They are made to be drained out of the dipstick hole. Warm the engine up and stop it,remove the spark plug cap, remove the dipstick and tip the mower to that side while placing a container under the dipstick filler. After draining, right the mower, refill with correct oil and quantity and remit the sparkplug cap. Regards Phil

No spark

I would first look to make sure the spark plug is not wet. Dry the end of the plug and the cap; a q-tip should work just fine. At this time look to make sure neither end is rusty. In the future my dad keeps a large pail inverted over the motor of his mower and leaves it out all winter (in the snow and rain). He has done this for many years.

Put bat on chager red light is flashing

Leave it on the charger over night, the light should turn green, but it may take a while. If it stays red tomorrow, check the water levels in the battery. If it is a maintenance free battery you will need a new one.If the light does not turn green.

14 DC volts at all time comming from bat termanels. fried one bat already. gen is off and no bat in. still 14 volts

What you are reading is the voltage coming from the trickle charger located in the generators control panel. Because these batterys are on a constant trickle charge they tend to evaporate the water out of them quicker.

We make it a habit to check the battery water level every 6 months and top off with distilled water when necessary. Because you are topping these batteries off more frequently the battery acid become diluted causing the battery not to last as long. So at least every 6 months I would also check the specific gravity of each cell in the battery as well as load testing it.

Your Charger Sounds like its dead, but dont worry it's a common fault with laptops etc..

Battery won't charge, 24v charger doesn't light up

Original battery is 130$+, or you can buy replacement for cheapest price (work the same). So, depends from the wallet, choose one... I found them on amazon, take a look:
1. cheapest one (about 30-40$): Amazon com 12N9 4B1 battery
2. Original one (130$+): Finally charging for our multi device world
I hope this was helpful. cheers
