My fridge is not cold

This normally indicates that the gas is low. If compressor runs continuously, but fridge does not cool, then you must have a regas done. Dont let it run like this cos it can damage compressor by overheating.

Its simple really,, Your refrigator needs re gassing,, call a professional and he will regas it.

When the gas is running low the fridge cools less and less and eventually will not cool at all when the gas is depleated. Its a natural process and any aircondition or refrigation professional should be able to come to your house and gas up the refrigator , a process that takes a few minutes.. I dont recommend you attempt to do it your self, as it will not take a whole can of gas and if by chance you use the wrong type you will spiol the compressor

How to regas a Samsung Refrigerator model SRS610DHSS 611Ltr side by side fridge

You have to have a refrigeration license to do so because of recovery and EPA guidelines so you would need a licensed refrigeration technician to recharge your unit. Most cooling problems are not freon related, just fyi!

How do i regas my fridge

you can not do this yourself, it is by far the most intense repair required on a fridge, even if you managed to get the freon into it, you would not know how much you require or how much went in, or what type for that mater, this is a job for the pros with the right equipment, but it is usually not the problem anyway, if your fridge is cold in the freezer and not the fridge then you have all the freon you need and it may not be defrosting or some other problem

DIY regas my fridge

With sufficient training and equipment this is not too hard to do, HOWEVER

1. Fridges contain high pressure gasses, some of these are flammable
2. You will need, guage manifold, accurate weighing scales (+/- 1 gram), a charging still, reclaim pump, reclaim cylinder, welding gear, access connectors, vacuum pump etc, Oh yes and an f-gas certificate.

My best advice DON'T TRY, lots of people get hurt doing this

I've fixed fridges for around 40 years now

Fridge part is not cooling well

You have a blockage in the system. Need a technician to come and replace the drier and regas system. Will run correctly after that.

Tempratue problem

air from the freezer fan, means the sensor- temperature control circuit is working right, it is trying to cool
there has likely been a leak from the system and there is not enough coolant left for the compressor to compress anything.

a GOOD repair guy
will have a pressure pump/gauge and test for leaks through the fill nozzle, repair them and regas the fridge (provided it is a non-CFC r12 fridge) without removing it from the home,

a not-so-good repair guy
will not
