SOURCE: dishwasher runs about 3 hours

First check the inlet water flow into the machine. There is a strainer attached to this. If it is clogged water filling into the machine will be delayed!

Also check whether using the same wash program as you were doing earlier. There can not be any other fault aprt from this. i presume the wash quality is good.

Heance clean all the water inlet and outlet for free flow.

Check the electrical connections where the power enters the dishwasher. (behind the lower kickplate, on the right side of the machine) Open the metal cover, hold on one of the twist on wire connectors, and firmly tug each wire to make sure none are loose. Check all the wires. There is a good chance one of the wires will come right out of the twist on wire connector when given a tug. Correct the poor connection, and you should be good to go.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.Normal cycles on new dishwashers is an average of two hours and opening the door makes it longer. Also if the water temp coming into the unit is not hot enough it takes even longer because now it has to heat the water.Yes new dishwashers can take a very long time to run a cycle.

My dishwasher leaks only on quick 1 hour washes versus the 3 hour setting? Why?

Probably because the shorter setting uses hotter water. I expect a hose is leaking when hot.

Water wont pump out at end of cycle

it would be helpful to have the full model number of the dishwasher.

do you get any lights flashing? how do you know it is end of cycle? could be still in wash and not got to rinse at all. Do you hear the drain motor running?

Try with a shorter cycle like simple rinse only and see if it drains the water.

I am assuming you have checked the filters are clean and there is no blockage in the kitchen drain.

Hi, I have a GE GSD3207P. With plugged spray arms

I don't know if they even have this product on the shelf anymore but this product is ideal for what your asking for: http://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/(t0se0nivtttsry45bq4xnf2w)/ProductDetails.aspx?SKU=19214 Too bad that this link does not offer it in single bottle qty. (12ea) The link is just so you can see the bottle and label.

What you need is a non foaming, non acidic, non corrosive and non flammable tub and tile cleaner.

Once you find that product.. start your machine let it fill completely and run for a moment then remove enough water to add the whole bottle of your cleaner. Start the machine for about 1 min, unlatch the door and let it soak for 1 hour. run it for another minute and soak another hour. Then check to see how everything looks. If it is clear then let the cycle finish. If not do the run / soak routine until the dishwasher finally pumps out normally. After you are done with the normal cycle put it thru a rinse and dry, then return it back to normal use.

Profile dishwasher not draining at end of cycle.

It would have helped if you provided the model no.

Check this GE website for possible causes. If you do not have the user manual then you can also download it from here, But you will need the model number. (should be etched on the body of the dishwasher)

Stays in wash cycle

Solution found in a defective SPDT 'Heater ON' switch which had burnt out, thereby causing an 'open' to pump solenoid, fill valve, and heater. Temporarily bypassing the switch confirms the solution. Buy either the whole switch panel (3 switches) from parts dealer or find a source for CW Industries part GRS2012-13.

Bosch sgi45e12gb/22 dishwasher won't stop

hey you..I have a whirlpool dishwasher too that would not
stop the wash cycle...it would run for 2-3 hours,
and then run thru the whole wash cycle again!

so..I had a whirlpool factory trained repair man come to
the home. He ran a diagnostic and it was 100% good,
so he called Whirlpool headquarters spoke to them;

said...........every 250 hours the dishwasher will
RE-CALIBRATE itself! running for 4-4 1/2 hours
straight, in order to re-calibrate itself. I was
interupting this by opening the door before it had
run the full 4 -41/2 hours of it's self-maintenance program.

Perhaps that your dishwasher is doing too?
p.s. always make sure you get a repairman that
is factory trained in your specific brand, otherwise
you'll waste $$$ money with a repairman who doesn't
have access to the corporate tech's and direct access
to their parts/inventory.

good luck with your dishwasher!
mine is the whisper quiet with computer control on front
of the door.
