Pictures moving across the screen with jerky motion

In one place, other pictures move across the screen smoothly. But later in the video, different pics move across the screen with a jerky/blurry motion. They do not **** in Premier, but **** after the video is rendered to .avi.
I tried lowering the size of all the pictures that were jerking as they moved but that did not fix it.
Any ideas as to why these pics in the later part of my video are jerky?

My video is very jerky. It seems to be cutting in and out constantly.

Your camera is likely taking still pictures, a few per second. For smooth movie-like motion, you need at least 24 frames per second. Your camera may be adjustable.

This is often called the "Soap Opera" effect...I had a similar problem and found that changing the settings helped tremendously. Here are the settings I use:
Picture Mode: Movie

Backlight: 18
Brightness: 49
Contrast: 52
Color: 42
Tint: 2
Sharpness: 3

Advanced Video
Noise Reduction: strong
Color enhancement: off
Advanced Adaptive Luma: Off
Enhanced Contrast Rato: off

Color Temperature: Normal
Red: 121
Green: 128
Blue: 118

Smooth Motion Effect: low
Real Cinema Mode: Precision

Also, there's a great thread on the Soap Opera effect here:

You may need to check the screens refresh rate on the monitor. How much memory on the video card? Have installed the drivers from the site of the CD? Chances are some changes have been made. You know XP has upgrades all the time. Check KWorld for the latest updates. Can you make a booster transmitter..i.e a Cantenna or something like that. Let me know what happens. Good Luck, Tim
