If your email was linked correctly then they should automatically be in your sent folder on your pc.

BlackBerry Tour: How to purge deleted email messages

When you have an email account linked to your BlackBerry Tour, you can read, send, and delete email messages just like if you were sitting at a computer. And just like when you use a computer to send or receive email, your deleted emails don't get erased completely -- they get moved into a deleted items folder (sometimes hidden, sometimes visible) in case you ever want to recover them. If you know you won't need to recover those emails, or if you want to free up some extra storage space, you can purge your deleted email messages from your BlackBerry.

To purge deleted emails on a BlackBerry Tour, follow the steps below.

- Open your email folder (or the Messages folder, if you have it set up to display your emails) on your BlackBerry.
- Press the BlackBerry key (the key to the left of the trackball with seven dots on it).
- Scroll down the list of choices to Options and select it.
- Select Email Reconciliation.
- Press the BlackBerry key again.
- Select Purge Deleted Items.
- A confirmation message will appear; choose Yes if you're sure you want to purge your deleted emails.

Note: Purging your deleted items folder will only erase messages that you've previously deleted. Any emails that you have in your inbox (or in any other folder) won't be affected. If you have more than one email account set up on your BlackBerry, purging deleted items from one account won't affect the others.

How to restore my deleted mails

If your deleted emails are still in your "Trash" folder ... you can view the contents of the "Trash" folder, select the emails you wish to restore, and "move" them to your "Inbox" folder.
If you have already emptied your "Trash" folder ... then it's not going to be possible to restore the emails that have been deleted.
You can try to contact Yahoo (support) to plea / request for your emails to be recovered from their backups. You may get lucky.

your email may have been archived or worse, a reply may have removed it from the inbox.

You may want to go to the setting page, and go to folders. you may want to enable the "All mail" folder. For some reason, gmail tends to enable conversation view and keep emails in the sent folder, for emails you replied too. Even iff you disable conversation view.

This folder however, has all emails including emails you moved to folders.

Also, if you know who the original sender is you can search for email in all folders. however if you deleted it, by accident and its been longer than a week, its gone. How this helps.

My 'Sent Mail' is always empty. Cannot check who I sent emails to. Why?

The most probable cause would be something in your settings for your web-mail, if that is what you're using, or in the configuration of your email client (e.g. Outlook). Another possibility is security software on your computer automatically clearing your sent folder or the equivalent security setting in web-mail doing the same.

If it's web-mail which you're using then the solution should be fairly simple, at least in terms of where you'll have to hunt and peck for the change in your web-mail configuration. You'll want to start with the help or support section of whatever web-mail service you're using, and probably you'll want to start with the FAQs first and run a search through them.

If you're using an email client on your computer, you'll first want to determine which protocol you're using: IMAP or POP3. IMAP leaves the email you receive on the server, whereas POP3 moves the emails you receive from the server to your computer.

IMAP shouldn't cause you any quirky problems with your sent mail folder, aside from the independent security software I mentioned earlier or explicit settings in your email client.

With the other protocol, POP3, your client is downloading all of your emails and not leaving copies on the server. It is possible that your sent folder is empty, in this scenario, if your email client is looking at the server's sent folder and not your client's sent folder. Hopefully something of this helps you solve your problem.

How can i manage a email box

The key to managing email using Microsoft Outlook is learning how to create email categories and prioritize your emails -- think of it as pruning and weeding your email garden -- so you can benefit from the flourish of information you have available. Once the Sent and Received emails are categorized, it is easier to see where "email growth" is coming from and decide where to prune and create new branches.
For example, advertising emails may be worth reviewing when they first arrive, but they soon go stale and can be removed. Bank notices and receipts you may want to hold on to longer.
For the folders you create for Sent mail, you will want to adjust the view (right click on the display/sort bar of the folder, Customize Current View, Fields...) to remove the From and Received and add the To and Sent field.
You may also want to add other useful fields to your folder's view. Size allows you to see and sort by the size of the message. You may decide to unburden your email folders of larger emails and manage them outside of email (i.e., save important attachments or save an entire email to location outside of Outlook).
Consider changing the properties of folders to show the Total Number of Items rather than the Total Number of Unread Items, particularly, if you are already getting alerts for important new messages being received.

On my Blackberry I am getting duplicate emails, not in my Yahoo folder but in the 'Messages' folder. have worked with the ISP and they have run out of ideas....must be simple?? Thanks Paul

1. Check how many Internet service account on your blackberry
2. Make sure you have one.
3. Check the settings of your email. There should only be one POP account
4. check if you are forwarding emails to the blackberry.

How do i view my email "sent" folder on blackberry

You will not be able to view e-mails in other folders. This is a BES 5.0 feature. Most companies are not there just yet. you can have it show your sent items from the option menu within the Inbox.

Sending Multiple emails

I had this same problem and found this solution (that worked!):

If your "Sent" file folder is overfull (it can only hold about 2G), OE can't file the sent message so it retains it in the "Out" mailbox. To see the size of the files in your "Sent" folder, go to your Outlook Express "Store" folder (in OE click on "Tools/Maintenance/Store Folder" then copy the information that shows where this file is located; then go to "Start/Run" and paste this information into the "Run" window; this will take you to your "Store" folder). Right-click on the file folder titled "Sent Items.dbx." It will show you the file size.

If you have too much information stored in this file folder, go back to your OE view and either delete some files from your "Sent" file folder or move them to a new folder. However, you must then "Compact All Files" (Click on "File/Folder/Compact All") in order to actually clear the space in the folder.

This should do it!
