Question about Televison & Video
Hello Dolly Bates,
WELCOME to FIXYA...
(I checked your history in case you accidentally
disclosed the MAKE 7 MODEL (sometime in the past)).
The mere fact it says anything at all is a
REALLY GREAT place to start...
While you are "waiting"... You could weigh your options:
Call your "service provider" (assuming you have one)...
or... Go to the YELLOW PAGES... (or YELP) & start searching form some SAMSONITE GORILLA to come into your house
and start knocking your TV set around...
You could find your MAKE & MODEL...
(tell fixya... (FREE)).
Perhaps a little recent history (flood/thunder). Try to remember
what other devices you have connected... Disclose that you use BROADCAST, COMCAST... or live on the moon...
ALL THESE things could help literally Hundreds
of EXQUISITE volunteers... HAVE half a chance
to get INTERESTED in your PROBLEM...
JUST Not me...
I am old (rest of my day is booked (out of here)).
Free will still be FREE.

Un plug the power to the Plasma Screen and also to the Media Receiver for ten minutes. Disconnect the off the air antennas both A and B. After ten minutes plug in the plasma screen then the media receiver and turn on wi the remote control. You should now be back in operation. I was.
Also It may not be a bad digital tuner. The TV Guide feature is active even when the zip code is set to all 0s so if you have an over the air antenna attached the TV will look for the TV Guide info and if it can not find it because of a weak signal or the chanel it is tuned to does not carry that information the TV thinks that tuner does not work which triggers the 12 flashes. Also on power up the gray box with the waring message "Plasma Display Starting Up, Please Wait" appears and the screen is blank.

There's a problem with the power board communicating properly with the interface board aka 'main board'. There's seems to be a logic problem here _Data-Bus interference. This could be because of DC voltage shut down or an under-voltage condition on the power supply board. Also the serial data too and from the Timing control board could also cause a similar problem. You can send the power board and interface board too me and I'll repair the problem for you. Or if you have some test equipment I can show you what to test.
Get back too me when you can.
