SOURCE: Toshiba HDTV + SONY PLAYSTATION 3 + SONY Home Theatre DAVHDX265

I have looked up the infomation on your TV I noticed that your TV has two HDMI input plugs. Since your SONY BRAVIA is hooked up to one port, you need to buy another HDMI cable for your PS3. On your tv remote you should have an option to switch from video 1 to video 2 so then you can switch from the SONY BRAVIA to the PS3 the problem is you will only hear your PS3 Sound from you TV. If you want to hear your PS3 sound from your SONY BRAVIA you need to buy an optical cable (also called TOSLINK) to connect from your PS3 to the SONY BRAVIA.

Hope that helps!

How do you enter a code for a roku stick when there is nowhere to enter on the link given?

Try connecting it to the television :>)

Once you plug the Roku Streaming Stick into an HDMI port and connect the micro USB port to either your HDTV's USB port or the included USB wall adapter, you can set up your viewing experience just like with any other Roku product. It's a very simple process, similar to authorizing a device to access Netflix: The Streaming Stick prompts you with a code you enter on Roku's Web site to link your account to it. After that's done, you can add content channels (or restore your channel list from a previous Roku device) to the Streaming Stick either through the Roku Web site or the on-screen channel store.

Some TV's & cables are not HDCP compliant . Sometimes you can replace the cable to fix the problem & other times you have to replace the tv because its not HDCP compliant . First check to see if your tv is HDCP compliant .

Connect roku tv to Sony Trinitron

The roku has a cable that you can connect to those 3 plugs. Take the HDMI cable back and give the salesman a piece of your mind. Once your roku is set up you can watch much more than NetFlix.

My roku streaming device is froze on this blue screen and will not change?

Glenda, Are you connected to your tv by HDMI or AV cables?
The blue screen is usually an indication of one of two things.
1: The HDMI cable has come loose but not entirely disconnected (Turn off Roku and TV unplug the HDMI cable from the Roku AND Tv and reconnect them making sure to seat the ends securely and turn on TV and Roku in that order)
2: your TV or receiver may not support HDCP (a content copy-protection solution) over HDMI. This is generally true for older TV models that have early HDMI implementations that do not follow current standards. Try connecting your player with the included A/V composite cable instead.

Sony STR-DA5300ES Audio Problem

I am posting this to try and get everyones audio problem for this receiver fixed. If you only connected the HDMI cable to the 510, you will not get sound. This receiver passes through HDMI only, no processing of audio. You must either connect a fiber optic or digital coax to the 510 for that respective HDMI input from the BD player, the DVD HDMI only accepts digital coax, and the Video2 HDMI only accepts fiber optic. If you BD player does not have digital coax out for audio, you must move the connection to Video2 HDMI and connect fiber optic to the Video2 fiber input. Sony butchered the whole purpose of HDMI with this receiver. Hope this heps you. By the way, it is hardware, no firmware update will correct this.
