Scanner error 5


The only fix that I know is to get the scanner/copier assembly(that's the assembly at the very top where the copier is) replaced.
I don't imagine that it is cheap. Get an estimate 1st.

What's C 5 E blinking in the printer screen?


The EC5 error code indicates that there is a short in one of your print cartridges. Please follow the steps below to identify and fix the issue:

1. Make sure the printer is on.

2. Open the printer cover. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the All-in-One is busy.

Note: If the carrier does not automatically move to the center, turn off the printer/unplug the printer from the power source and then slide the carrier to the center.

3. Remove both cartridges from the carrier.

4. Close the printer cover.

5. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

6. When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first.

7. Close the printer cover and check for any errors.

8. If no error appears, reinsert the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.

9. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new cartridge.

My printer is flashing error cdes C and 5. What is wrong and how di I fix theis


The error indicates that your printer has detected a short circuit in one or both of your cartridges. Please follow the steps below to identify and fix the issue:

9. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new cartridge.

Hp laserjet 9050n appear disk not initialized .how to solve. thank you.


Turn off printer
Press and hold PAUSE/RESUME(START on MFP)
Turn on printer
Keep holding the PAUSE/RESUME or START until all 3 error lights light
Release the buttons
Press LEFT ARROW(5 button on MFP) until INITIALIZE DISKS appear
Press the CHECK(6 button on MFP)
Wait for printer to READY

I am using canon mx 328 printer. it shows error occured 5100


remove cartridges. clean the contact surface of the cartridge where the contact terminal inside the printer touches. You can use a cotton moistened with alcohol. After that return the cartridges and restart the printer.

If different errors appear, try to reset

1. Turn off your printer
2. Press and hold the STOP/RESET button
3. Press and hold Power ON button
4. While holding the Power ON button, release the STOP/RESET button
5. While holding still the Power ON button, press twice the STOP/RESET button
6. Release the Power ON button
7. Wait until it display an "idle" message. It will take about a minute.
8. When "idle" appear, open the top cover to expose the cartridges.
9. Lift up the cover for cartridge holder and take out both the black and color cartridges
10. Return the cover of cartridge holder and turn off the printer
11. Return the top cover and turn on the printer again
12. After the printer initialize, return the cartridges.


If another errors appear, try to press the STOP/RESET button for at least 5 seconds and wait until the printer self restart.

'Print error #5'


MYOB requires that you have a default printer selected on your computer system. If no printer driver is installed, when opening a company file, a printer error #5 is displayed.

Highlight your Printer and go to File on then Menu bar/Set as default.and Turn off user account control if you're using vista. It's in your security center in the control panel. Turning this off should fix the printer error 5 issue .

Sharp AR-5316 F5 ERROR


check the exsposure lamp this error relates to damaged or blown lamp also you check this when you turn th ecopier on you should see it self test at hte start up if there is no light it has blown or connections are bad

If the error message still appears, write down the error number listed on the LCD panel (xyyyy) and turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and contact a qualified service representative
