Hi, It is the evaporator fan motor/blade hitting something. Remove the rear panel inside the freezer section and see what the fan blade is hitting.
Please let me know if this helps you at all or if I can assist you further.

Thanks
Vic

I have recently bought a Craftmatic CC4 which is 10 years old and am wondering if I should be checking the oil level in the transaxle unit. Whilst it runs fine, there is a clicking sound sound consistent...

hi,i don't advise this...the fluid used is normally a semi fluid grease , however reassembly must be done correctly otherwise you could do some real damage, if there is a click on a complete resolution then i would say a bearing is worn, the worm gear that driven from the motor will be worn and that could be making the click as well but as long as it not slipping and excessively noisy i would leave it alone, the motor also has a bearing that can become noisy ... one thing to note is so you find a worn or damage gear, what are you going to do ?? unless you know someone who can recreate another one ?

if it is noisy the noise could be the sum of all the gears noise so replacing just one gear wouldn't be enough

Rob

I've recently bought a new tga sonet scooter, it's very noisy, they tell me that they are a noisy scooter can anybody tell me if this is true.

Block the rear wheels up off the floor. Now put the sccoter in gear and let her rip! Is it real noisy? Did they replace the motor or the trans-axle on which th motor is appart of. If they replaced the entire assembly and its still making noise, thats what they sound like. Ive heard some of the scooters make a winning sound. Go to a place that sells this model and compare. My scooter is a Rascal 600t it makes some noise. It shouldn't be too noisy though. Its hard to tell from here.

New model ET1CHEXYQ02 VERY NOISY, LIKE TO MAKE

Hello there
Please follow these steps first ok
It's noisy Noise can come from these areas: The inside of the freezer The outside back of the refrigerator The bottom of the refrigerator The inside of the freezer Self-defrosting refrigerators use a circulating fan to move the air through the freezer and refrigerator compartments. This fan runs whenever the unit is cooling. The fan is located in the freezer, as follows: If the freezer is on top, the fan is on the back wall, near the top or bottom, in the center of the freezer. If the freezer is on the bottom, the fan is on the back wall, near the top of the freezer. If the freezer is on the left, the fan is on the back wall, halfway up or near the top. Over time, the fan may become noisy--usually making a chirping or squealing sound, though it may make a loud groaning noise instead. To find out if the fan is causing the noise, just open the freezer door and push in any fan/light switches. If the noise is louder when the door is open, the evaporator fan motor is the cause. You can't lubricate or repair this motor. You must replace it. The outside back of the refrigerator There are three components on the outside back of the refrigerator that may become noisy: the compressor, the condenser fan motor (if self-defrosting), or the defrost timer (if self-defrosting). The compressor is a football-sized case with no apparent moving parts. You can see it on the outside of the refrigerator at the back near the bottom. It is usually black and has black or copper-colored tubes and various colored wires attached to it. If the compressor is the device making noise, there is probably no repair that will reduce the noise. You will have to replace it--which can be quite costly. If the condenser fan is making noise, there may be a build-up of lint or other debris on the fan blade. The fan is located near the back of the machine, sometimes behind a thin panel. To clean it, first unplug the refrigerator, remove the thin panel, and use a soft bristle brush to clean it. If there is no lint build-up or debris on the blade, you will have to replace the motor. The defrost timer is often located at the bottom of the refrigerator it may make noise

Noisy motor on fridge side which whirred to a stop

Hi, It sounds to me like the evaporator fan motor is faulty. They will quit working after they make a noise like that, bearings and windings. You have a door switch that stops the fan when you open the door, that opens the contacts on the motor. It should have come back on when closing door. Now you say it has quit cooling,so if this motor has not come back on and is not running quietly, it will need to be removed and replaced. It may be difficult for you if you are going to do this yourself, but if your up to it, you can save yourself some $.You can buy a new one at an appliance parts house, or get all of the info from you're unit and go online to order one. They have universal motors to fit also.It would be a 120volt sealed motor with a plastic or aluminum blade.Try and remove it yourself if you are able, if not you will need to call out the tech which can get costly. Best of Luck to you and please keep me posted.Have a good night, Sincerely,

Dryer guide wheel was noisy and I opened the dryer up and found the wheel and stud badly scored. Fixed that and put machine back together and now the motor is very noisy and the machine shuts off...

you need to check the blower fan. the motor has a "D" shaped shaft. over time the blower wears, the motor will spin but the blower does not. the air flow stops and the drier over heats. replace the blower and it should be fine.

Noisy Amana ABB2227DEB

The motor is an "auto damper" that opens/closes to let cold air from the freezer comp. into the refer comp. depending on the temp. There is nothing you can do for maintenance, the little motor runs the damper when needed automatically. Some motors are quiet, some are noisy (grind grind grind) as the open and close. Sort of the nature of the beast, if you're lucky you get one that stays quiet.
