I will try a new T-CON board first.
I have changed out both the tcon board and main board to no avail..Next suggestion?????
I was reading that sometimes the Led drivers fail..Where are they located in what board??
The T-CON board is the common problem of this model, are you sure you purchased a good T-CON? If you are sure, the last problem is the display panel itself.
The LED driver board will not affects the panel goes too bright.
The LED driver section is integrated on the main power supply.
I had a tech (warranty) put a new tcon board and main board in..nothing..he replace the tcon twice and I just bought another one to see if I'd have luck..NO..what can go wrong with display panel???

If lighting did strike, you would be suffering power supply problems, due to a power surge from the strike.
The problem sounds like it could be related to the LCD panel becoming faulty or if your able to test inside the unit with a multimeter, you can measure the voltages from the printed circuit boards, especisly those suppling power to the LCD panel as well as the Logic PCB, A small printed circuit board you will find either attatched to the LCD panel. I hope this helps.
Good luck.

You will get a white screen when you unplug the t-con from the main board. Doing so removes power to the LCD panel. Verify that all of your voltages from the power supply are correct. If they are, I'd look at the t-con board. It sounds like there is a problem with the t-con that is pulling down the main board.

Just replace the T-Con board and you dont need any soldering at all. JUst be careful for the flex connector.

Ask them to replace the t-con board. It could be a defect one.Good Luck.
