Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera
I have two DSC-W55.
One with a broken screen.
One with a lens that is stuck half in and half out.
Which one is easiest to fix (with parts from the second) and can you give me instructions on how to do it.
Screen to good lense is easier Find a set of Jewler screw driver you can find these in Job Lot stores or the expensive snapon dealer drive by. Theb proced to remove the bateries and memory sticks. Now the back of the camera that surounds the frame of the screen take great care and remove the small screw. o9nec the back is off the screen should float out and a ribbon cable in a socket snould be found make sure it is a socket and no a hard wire connection it should slip out from this connector block do the same to the other camera and do the swap.
Replace the back makesure everything aligms and do not force the alignment. It should plop together like mustard in the baby's pants
