Hi!
It's a problem with the CCD. Could be faulty CCD or loose connection. If Sony don't want to repair it or ask too much, you can contact me at toms.safranovs@gmail.com
I work in Sony service center.

If the LCD displays correctly on previous photos then the problem is more than likely a CCD or associated ribbon connector failure due to moisture/condensation or age/misuse. Good luck with finding a replacement part!

Too much purple in sony bravia

Try to examine the screen with the color turned off---is it a uniform color other than gray or black and white?

A photo posted somewhere with a link showing what it looks like might be helpful.

There's no way for you to fix this. You have the classic signs of a failed ccd unit. There's nothing you did to cause it and nothing you could have done to prevent it.

All you can do is to return the camera to Panasonic for repair. If the camera is out of warranty then demand a free repair on the basis that the sensor has clearly suffered a premature failure (it should have lasted a minimum of five years); the precedent for this kind of out of warranty repair was set a few years ago when Sony had a manufacturing defect on one of their sensors. It was used in many different makes and models and hundreds of thousands of free repairs were carried out.

When I print the picture has a purple haze in it ?

If you are using re-manufactured ink tanks, that would explain it, a mi-matched ink tank. To clarify the ink colour is not quite right.

If genuine ink tanks (Recommended) then maybe try different paper. If using photo paper you should be using compatible / genuine paper as the different chemicals react can give this problem.

If using fax / standard paper then could be print head fault....normally get an error code.

Color on photos suddenly has a blue - purple wash with no greens

Your yellow cartridge is probably not working as your photos suggest. Remove and reinsert the yellow cartridge. Try printing only yellow color.
Your printer has a separate head for printing; the nozzle for yellow ink might be clogged. Try running a head cleaning routine from your printer software.

First step -try pressing gently the casine from all angles around the screen- this may simply be a loose connector problem that rights itself. Do Not Try Taking it apart at this stage Second Step Fuji Technical Support. They may have a recall or replacement situation depend on the age and model of camera. Third Step Camera Store- for the new one- A repair situation will not be an economic proposition- assuming parts availability- often there are none
