Will not print when docked

I would recommend that you undock the laptop, go into the Printers and Faxes console, and delete the printer. Then, dock the laptop, connect the USB cable to the dock and then re-install the printer through the dock. The USB ports on the laptop are assigned different hardware values than the PCI interface of the dock, and if the laptop is trying to print to a local USB port, it may not find the printer if it's connected through a PCI interface like the dock. That'd be my next move.

It is hardly possible that anyone will even try to repair it. And believe it or not, it is cheaper to buy a new one then to repair the old one

USB ports in docking station stopped working suddenly

I was having the same problem - the USB ports seemed to have stopped working so I could not use the mouse, keyboard, or printer, even though the monitors and power could still operate through the docking station. Finally, I just unplugged the docking station for 30 seconds, plugged it back in, and everything resumed working. I was surprised it was that simple, but it's working for the moment.

After docking laptop I have to add port prior to printing

I assume you're running Win Xp. Disconnect the USB cable from the docking station. Go to START/CONTROL PANEL/PRINTERS/VIEW PRINTERS. Double click on the Konica icon. In the print queue that opens, delete any pending print jobs. Go to START/CONTROL PANEL/ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS. Uninstall any Konica software. Go to START/CONTROL PANEL/PRINTERS/VIEW PRINTERS. On the MENU bar, click on PRINTER/SERVER PROPERTIES. Click on the DRIVERS tab. Remove anything that says Konica. Click on the PORTS tab. Remove ALL the Konica ports. Reboot Re-install the printer driver - DO NOT plug in the USB cable until it tells you to. That SHOULD do it. If it does not, please let me know and I'll research it further. Ed
