No Spin or agitation After move

Our washer worked fine. It is a GE toploader. We moved it, and now it will fill and drain, but will not spin and agitate. What's wrong?

Reset computer. Unplug for 2 minutes, plug back in, open and close lid 7 times slowly to reset computer. This should solve your problem.

1.5 year old ge profile washing machine will not agitate or spin

Timer seems to have gone bad. Manually move the timer to make the dryer spin. If you get it to spin and drain then it's your timer.

WHDRR418G1WW WASHER WON'T AGITATE OR SPIN, NOT MAKING NOISES. FILLS AND DRAINS FINE.

sounds like you have a broken lid switch on the washer, maybe someone slammed the door or placed or stood on top of the washer, a broken lid switch won't allow washer to go into spin mode is a safety device so if is on spin cycle an someone sticks their hand it the machine stops an not breaks your hand.

broken lid swtich

good luck leave some feedback thanks!

My washer fills , sits, does not agitate, empties and spins.

I had the same problem. Take the agitator off by pulling on it extremely hard - use allen wrenches in the slots on the sides to help. This exposes the "air bell coupler" - take the 7/16" bolt out and slide it off. Chances are the spline is stripped out inside. The part is 5 bucks online
