Question about Computers & Internet
I have an EMACHINE (T5234) with a ECS MPC61PM-AM mother board. The problem I'm having with the system is the power supply shuts down during the loading of any new operating system. I have tried to load XP Pro, Windows 2000, recovery disks for Vista.
Things I have tried:
Switched to a new IDE HHD from the existing SATA drive.
New power supply.
New Fan heat sink assembly.
Flashed the BIOS.
Swapped memory sticks.
All of the above do not fix it.
It fails when the Windows Drivers are being loaded.
Go into systen bios and set the default leave it there for a good duration doing notheing. see if the machine dies if not save the setting and reinstall using the Boot from CD.
DO not Boot from HD
try a different CD drive unit too.
