Hello George Smith...
Sorry to hear that... Also sorry you are ANSWER SHOPPING: What you just described is indeed a CRIMINAL matter...
My best advice would be to start with the FBI...
because after seeing current functional enforcement of
the FCC... I would not trust them with a sharp pencil.
(In my opinion to busy having lunch with the PUC
(all very much OUT to LUNCH)).
There is a SPECIAL CODE you can dial... CERTAIN
charges may apply... (but you will find them a lot less DANGEROUS... and you don't want to get CRIMINALLY
Charged yourself...
You need to get your complaint filed with appropriate authorities.
In cities Like Oakland, California, Chicago, Il or Detroit, Mi.,
You might have to go shopping the Sheriff, Marshal or even the FBI... (my opinion... start there).
There are codes (FCC law)...
These services ARE NOT FREE... but they are a way to protect your own safety, security & freedom.
Handled properly... everybody gets to got home after the
shift... EXCEPT (possibly) the one criminal you have yet
to identify (just do it correctly... safely/legally)...
Pretty please...!!
If they are threatening message, get the police or FBI involved. It's called " threats" and is a big no no.

I had a similar problem when dealing with my own phone of the same type. The only permanent solution is to engage the master reset which you can find in the settings folder. A temporay solution is to go to your outbox, and you'll have a message that either has a little red x on it or just is a plain letter shape. if you try to delete this it will say one or more messages can't be deleted. make sure you change it's status to canceled, then select it choose send to drafts. make sure there are no messages in your outbox and only the one message you just moved to drafts in that folder. it still will npot allow you to delete the message. remove your battery while the phone is still on. replace reboot go to drafts and you should be able to then delete the message from drafts. if you still can't the only option i see, which is what i did, is to use the master reset
SOURCE: cannot remove number in the sent IM menu of the LG Rumour
Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....
All finished hope this helps.
