WATER SPLASHING IN FREEZER AT ICEMAKER
THE FILL TUBE IN BACK OF REFRIGERATOR CAN SLIP
AGAINST THE FILL RESERVOIR CAUSING A PARTIAL BLOCKAGE
OR BECOME CLOGGED WITH ICE.
REMOVE THE ICEMAKER AND INSPECT THE FILL TUBE.
RUN WATER IN TUBE TO ELININATE BLOCKAGE AND CHECK
TEMP IN FREEZER. IF TEMP IS BELOW 0 DEGREES, THATS
OVERKILL AND USUALLY A WASTE OF ELECTRICITY TO KEEP IT THAT COLD, NOT TO MENTION THE FILL TUBE FREEZING UP

Refrigerator will not defrost

Remove the kick plate grill at base of refrigerator and turn the timer clockwise slow until compressor stops. That should be beginning of the defrost cycle. After a few minutes look inside freezer or listen for crackling or hissing noise. That should indicate defrost. After 25 minutes if it does not restart then turn again until it restarts. Replace defrost timer. Let me know what happens, Thanks Sea Breeze

My Kenmore refrigerator is making a loud noise when running and when it shuts off it makes a loud clunking noise. Also, it is running about every 10 minutes. The refrigerator is 7 years old.

it sounds like the compressor insides are loose and you will be needing a new compressor, but just check and make sure the rubber mounting feet on the outer compressor base where its mounted to the refrigerator base are all tight and the rubber shocks are all good

When the ice maker start to rotate there is very loud noise

Dripping sound.
During the defrost, water draining from the freezer section will drip into the pan by your compressor in the back and bottom of your refrigerator.
* Air rushing or blowing.
There is a fan in the freezer section and in some models in the back and bottom of your refrigerator to circulate air. This is a normal sound.
* Louder when starting or coming on.
Compressor operates at a higher pressure when first starting and noise should disappear as refrigerator continues to run and balance pressures.
* Popping, crackling, or sizzling about once a day.
If your model is self-defrosting, the defrost system utilizes a heater to remove the ice and frost from the freezer coil. During this period you will hear some expansion noises as heat is applied to the coil and you may experience some sizzling sounds as the melting water drips on the heater.
* Running water.
If you have an ice maker equipped model, the ice maker will call for water as the old batch of cubes is ejected and the ice maker starts to make more cubes. This will last for about 10 seconds and is normal.
* Vibrating or rattling noises

Refrigerator runs very loudly

If sound is coming from freezer it is probalbly the evaporator fan. Either the fan is bad or the fanblade is making contact with something.

Kenmore coldspot #59597993

Check the condenser where heat is removed from the system. Look under the front behind the toe plate under the door. Use a vacuum crevasse tool to get into the narrow places to draw out the dust and lint. Make sure the fan under the refrigerator is running. You can remove the bottom panel in back to observe the fan operation. Listen for sounds at the back like a hum and a click. Check the compressor to see if it is hot and running. If the compressor is cold you may have a control problem.
